The Mecenate Palace Hotel consists of two adjacent buildings: the first one was built in 1887 by the famous architect Rinaldi and overlooks Piazza Santa Maria Maggiore; the other one faces on Via Carlo Alberto and was built a few years later. During the renovation we cared of reproducing the original noble look.

The name Mecenate has in time become a synonym of ''talent scout'' and patron of the artists. The Hotel was named after him because it was right here, on the Esquiline Hill, that Mecenate lived, surrounded by his poets, writers, mimes, actors and musicians.

In total the hotel offers 62 rooms (three of them are suites with Whirlpool baths), a meeting room for 40 persons and a panoramic roof garden where breakfast is served. The hotel is located in Rome's historical centre, just a few steps away from the Foro and Colosseum; in 5 minutes by metro you will easily reach Piazza di Spagna, the Trevi fountain and Via Veneto area.
