| | | The Mecenate Palace is a 4-star hotel in Rome city centre , a short distance from the Roman Forum, the Colosseum and the Opera House, with convenient public transport connections to shopping and business areas such as piazza Barberini , via Bissolati , via Condotti , and the Spanish Steps.
The hotel is comprised of two adjacent buildings, one overlooking Piazza Santa Maria Maggiore , which dates back to 1887 and the other on via Carlo Alberto , that was built a few years later.
Renovation work was carefully planned to restore the building's façades and the romantic interiors to their original splendour.
Amenities include a meeting room for 40 persons, an Internet Point, a panoramic roof garden and a garage. Pets are not accepted.
The roof garden of the hotel, with its magnificent view over the city, is the perfect venue to host exclusive receptions and gatherings.
Breakfast with a choice of regular buffet or American buffet is served from 7 a.m. until 10 a.m. in the breakfast room.
During the summertime, breakfast is served at the rooftop garden.
