We had no problem walking to the hotel from Termini. The desk clerk was very nice and was expecting us. They showed us to our room and then brought up our luggage.

Hotel Mascagni was very nice and we enjoyed our stay. They were very welcoming and the staff was very helpful. The recommended a very nice restaurant on our first night and even called ahead. We were surprised to be greeted at the door and by name at the restaurant. Breakfast was nice, even serving scrambled eggs. Clean, modern, comfortable and free internet access.

Very good location for a tourist. Surprisingly quiet considering the location.
High ceilings made the rooms look bigger. Very clean. Good bathrooms. Friendly staff.

This hotel was very nice. Joseph (spelling?) was extremely helpful as was all the staff. We will definitely return to this hotel. The other hotels we stayed at in Italy could not compare.

It's location is within walking distance or a short subway hop to all of Rome's major tourist attractions. The entrance to the subway station is just steps ways from the hotel's front door. We felt comfortable and safe walking around the area at night.

Our only complaint is that the beds are VERY
HARD. My husband has had some back problems
since our stay. If the beds were different we
would stay here again but we will not as long

The front desk manager was very nice and let me look at two rooms and choose the one I liked best.

The staff, breakfast and my room were mostly better than expected! There were a few glitches with the Wi-Fi and some of the TV channels were not available (only CNN in English) but who spends that much time in the room! I chose a front room and yes, with the windows open during the day, it was noisy but that did not bother me. And at night it was pretty quiet, like any big city.

The quality of the bed,linens and cleaniness of room and bathroom were better than expected. Having the St. Regis piano bar across the street was a nice perk. The location offered easy walks to many places. And most taxis knew the hotel by name. The front desk managers were very helpful in suggesting outings and making reservations for us.

Very nice hotel with friendly and helpful staff. Centrally located within easy walking distance to all sites except the vatican. Rooms are very comfortable, quiet and clean. Breakfast is very nice. Would highly recommend this hotel and stay there again.

Nice and new refurbished hotel with friendly people. Between 15 and 20 minutes to walk to Spanish Steps but metro station is very close.

The concierge, when requested, booked a local restaurant for us, which we thoroughly enjoyed and made a great start to our visit to Rome

Had a triple room the first night on the 4th. Floor of the street side of the Hotel. The traffic noise was very bad, almost all night (Saturday). Moved to a double on the other side of the hotel for subsequent nights which was as quiet as a monestary.

As above, request room away from traffic noise.
