When we arrived the room we were given did have a problem with water on the ceiling but we were moved to a room straight away, no problem at all.

Great location, 5 min walk from metro, lovely friendly staff, nice rooms, good breakfast and value for money.
They also have a lovely labrador dog who sits in Reception!

We had to pay with cash since the computer was not working. This was NOT the fault of the hotel.

Marghera is a quiet hotel even though it is located close to Termini Station in Rome. Room was nicely appointed, bathroom was excellent! Breakfast was generous and delicious! Eileen

The hotel staff was very nice and helpful. They went out of their way to make sure we were welcome. I would definitely stay there again because the location was great as well.

I would not recomend it to anyone. It came highly recomended to me and thats why i chose it. I stayed at the Canada Hotel last time and it was far superior.

When we arrived we were told that the 'POS' system was not working and that the bill, all of it, would have to be paid in cash at time of check out. That is asking a lot and it was something that I found to be deeply troubling. No alternative options were offered. It had to be cash and cash alone.

Also, whenever someone showered in the room above me, my bathroom would be flooded with leaks from the ceiling.
The room was really very small.

We got limited assistance getting our baggage in from the car and to our room.

We were in a top floor room, right next door to the laundry room with large driers operating and with airconditioning that was NOT working for the full three days we were there. We had to put up with the inconvience of technicians working on the airconditioning in our room and they still didn't fix it. As it was 40C weather it was almost unbearably hot and very difficult to sleep. On the last night the hotel staff did find us another room with working airconditioning. We were not offered any assistance in moving our bags and in fact we were told the room was just to sleep in and that we should leave our bags in our room!

The staff apologised for the lack of airconditioning but did not offer us any discount due the the inconvience and discomfort caused by the lack of airconditioning and technicians in our room etc. This is not acceptable.

The room we were given was not like that on the website and was certainly not up to a 300euro per nite rate!

Old, run down, and way over priced. I would not recommend it.
