I was delighted with Malka B&B. The room was bright, clean and spacious, with an extra bed (I didn't need it, but got it anyway) and lots of clean towels. Everything in the kitchen was in perfect order for breakfast. I would definitely recommend this accomodation, and would stay again if I needed a place in Rome.

Bright, cheerful, clean rooms and baths in a homey apartment very close to the Vatican, bus lines downtown and all major sites. Make-your-own breakfast in the eat-in kitchen; you can cook other simple meals there, too. Extremely friendly and accomodating family-based staff, and great value for the money, especially if you are traveling with children. Highly recommended!

We arranged with the owner to have a driver pick us up at the airport. He (Roberto) was there waiting for us with a smile! We also arranged to have him return us to the airport which was great!

Very close to St. Peter's Square (only 3-4 blocks). Small fruit & vegetable market around the corner.

Modest apartment very close to St. Peter's Square. Very clean and spacious. Owner was wonderful. Our stay was better than we expected because of the owner -- she was very accommodating and pleasant!

I had my dates wrong and arrived one day too early, but with this confusion they were very helpful and did everything in their power to assist us - very greatful for this

Nobody was at the apartment but eventually we then found a payphone and called and she met us there quite quickly.

We really really liked it. It was spacious and clean and comfortable. It was in a nice location, quieter than expected yet handy to the bus stop, the Vatican, and the train station. (Being handy to the train station ended up being a real bonus for getting out of town with all our luggage and not needing to use a cab.)
There was also a really good map for getting around that was there for us to use. The owners were friendly and helpful with instuctions or directions and also allowed us to store our bags at their local shop for a few hours after we checked out of the apartment but before we headed out of Rome.
Breakfast was self serve with plenty of milk and juice in the fridge and there were packages of sweet rolls/cakes. We didn't eat the cakes, choosing instead to purchase fresh from the bakeries that were very nearby. Kitchen had everything we needed.
Beds were comfortable and we could get a breeze and slept well. Two of the three bedrooms had little balconies.

I would highly recommend this place -especially for a family of more than 4. It sleeps 7 plus a baby crib. See comments above.

I thought we would have breakfast every morning, but maybe that was my mistake/misunderstanding. It was very nice of our hostess that she did had breakfast (without extra charge) for out first morning, because we arrived in the evening. That was very nice!!

very clean, homy and nice place, in a quiet area, central to attractions for a good price! a perfect stay for a group of six or seven people (for a weeked or a week), but maybe not so comfortable as a couple between other couples.

We were met at airport by a limo driver that the owner sent. 55 Euros--took us directly to the apartment. He gave us a map and answered any questions we had. Very nice and friendly. There is no receptionist.

You are basically in an apartment with two bedrooms and two bathrooms and a kitchen. It is quite private. However, there is no manager there. You can call the owner though. Great for a family.

Quiet area. This B& B is actually an apartment. Comfortable bed, with a private bathroom--but as stated, the bathroom is a few steps outside of room--there are only two guest rooms, so it's still semi-private. One bathroom is larger and newer with a tub, the other is older with stall shower. Able to use kitchen facilites. It was only two or three blocks from St. Peter's. Two blocks to buses that will take you to the rest of the city.
