It was very quick and efficient. ... At first I had a VERY small room in which I had to maneuver around carefully but I could manage. There was, however, a big noise problem; men started working outside one window at 7am. I deal with it for 2 nights, then the manager Angela (who is FANTASTIC!) asked if I wanted to move, which I did. The room, on the 2nd floor, a bit bigger and quieter, worked out beautifully. She was very, very helpful in every way and is a big asset. ... I think you should include the fact that Angela is very helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable. I would recommend asking for the 2nd (for them the 1st) floor; not ground level. And I would say that some rooms are very small, but very clean, high-ceilinged, and well-appointed. And that the building is historic, beautifully renovated. I believe they also said they're going to open up a fitness center downstairs; you should check on this. I would also say that the location is very central and charming. ... That it's a great location, good value for the money if you don't want a big American-sized experience. You should ask for a room on the 2nd floor, or one of the larger ones, but it's still worth it no matter what. If the prices go up alot, I'd have to re-evaluate. I would definitely recommend it.

Lack of signage made it difficult to find, but it was explained that the signing was on order so hopefully it will be better for future customers.
Otherwise, it was comfortable, clean and Angela was so very helpful and professional. She couldn't have done more for us and made our stay great.
thank you
Jayne & Clive Presswell ... Tricky to find, could put - located before bridge on the left hand side. ... Brilliant location, comfortable and friendly.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. They only thing that was little upsetting was the graffiti on the buildings around the hotel. I just can't understand this disrespect and that it can be resolved before the next time I come to Rome. Rome is such an amazing and beautiful city. I just can't understand the mentaility behind such a distrcutive behaviour. ... Great but the surrounding area was a little dirty and needed some major street and building cleaning.

The Maison Giulia is a very nice property in a superb location. The only problem I had was noise on the second stay because they were still completing the front/reception area. This was early in the morning on a day when I was hoping to catch up on rest after a lot of traveling. The staff were very apologetic about this. I would have liked to know about this beforehand and I might have made other arrangements. They should not be renting rooms out while the property is under construction. ... The property is still being finished, and certain services are not yet available. This is the reason for the discounted rates (extremely reasonable for this location in town). ... I would recommend it for location but I would say to check ahead as to whether all the construction work is done.
