The standard of the bedroom was exactly as expected and the breakfast also. The decor was very nice. We found Rome to be an expensive city and this was reflected in the size of the room for the price.

We asked for pick-up at the airport, and received confirmation by mail. No one was there to pick up, and we took a cap. The safe did no work in the room. we asked for help, but did not receive any.

Our stay was made very nice due to the excellent staff at the Hotel Luxor. I would recommend this hotel to others.
* Spacious Our room had a rather small bathroom, but it was not a main concern. I WAS MORE INTERESTED IN THE LOCATION.

THE HOTEL LUXOR IS A GREAT LOCATION BECAUSE IT IS WITH IN WALKING DISTANCE FROM THE TRAIN STATION AND IS JUST OFF VIA NAZIONALE.

THERE ARE LOTS OF NICE LITTLE AFFORDABLE RESTAURANTS OFF OF VIA NAZIONALE. IT WAS ALSO VERY QUIET.

IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR A SMALL FRIENDLY PLACE TO STAY IN ROME WITH A STAFF WHO IS EXTREMELY HELPFUL, THE HOTEL LUXOR IS A GREAT CHOICE.

Comfortable room in a convenient location. The staff were friendly and helpful. When they found we were there to get married we were presented with a complimentary bottle of champagne !

Everything was nice with the hotel. We just had a small problem with the transfer from airport to hotel. We had arranged a car by the help of the hotel for 44 Euro but the driver took 48 euro from us. As it was the first moment of our holliday, we didn't discuss with him.But it wasn't nice to feel to cheated. The receptionist helped us for return way and arranged a car for 40 euro. So it's not good to know that the prices can change so easily and if you don't bargain you may be cheated. Except this eveything was fine. Thank you.

We had chance to get a superior room and it was exactly as seen on the web. But in general for all hotels, the web images are not 100% realistic.

We had asked one of the staff to call and make a reservation for us to tour the Villa Borghese and gardens. He told us a reservation wasn't necessary. When we arrived at the villa, we discovered that a reservation was required, so we didn't get to see it and were disappointed.
Otherwise, the staff were very courteous and helpful.

I was disappointed with the accomadations that we were given upon arrival - however the staff did make arrangements to provide a nicer room. That was very commendable.

I was not happy about the size of the bathrooms. I thought in suite bathrooms would have been bigger.
The staff did make us feel welcome and were very helpful with directions to different sights.
It was my birthday during our stay and I was treated to a bottle of champagne! That was very nice!
All in all I would say that if I could have the staff at another facilty - I would have been extremely content.

I would not say that the breakfast buffet was 'hardy'. The standard continental breakfast was served. The cappucino was excellent though.
