How To Reach Us

From Fiumicino Airport: take the shuttle train (about 15 minutes) to Termini railway station. Get off at the Trastevere railway station. Left outside the exit you have the stop for the number 8 tramline, wich you have to take in direction Casaletto for only one stop and you are arrived.

From Ciampino Airport: CIA is the closest airport to town, but, having a lesser number of flights landing there, it has no train connection to the center of Rome. The least expensive option to reach us is a bit complicated and long, but quite inexpensive. You would have to take the Airport shuttle (about every 30 minutes) to Anagnina, the first stop of the underground Metro line A. Get off at the Termini Stop. Outside the exit of the underground you have the stop for the number H bus. The closest stop to Lucretia's rooms is Trastevere railway Station. Since there is no display on the bus telling you where the stops are, the best thing to do is ask the driver or some passenger to show you where to get off. Ryanair and Air Berlin have a bus service taking you to the area of the Central Train Station Roma Termini, do not waist time after arrival because right after the landing the bus will leave and there will be no other service until the next arriving flight of one of the 2 companies. The ticket has to be bought at a booth right in front of the arrivals. G0 has a similar service, but in that case the bus ticket has to be bought on the plane before landing. You can also take a Taxi.

From Roma Termini Central Train Station: Bus tickets must be bought before getting on the bus. Outside the railway station in Piazza dei Cinquecento you have the stop for the number H bus. The closest stop to Lucretia's rooms is Trastevere railway Station. Since there is no display on the bus telling you where the stops are, the best thing to do is ask the driver or some passenger to show you where to get off. Outside the exit you have the stop for the number 8 tramline, wich you have to take in direction Casaletto for only one stop and you are arrived.

Public transport system: the 75-minute ticket is valid on busses/trams/underground,urban train can be bought at Tobacco shops, Newspaper kiosks, Bars, and have to be validated at the machine on board. Daily tickets are available, and use the same procedure (on sale only at the Transport System Booths, Roma Termini, the Coliseum Underground Stop ....). There is also a weekly ticket available.

Pleas note: Taxi - Use only official taxis similar to any other taxi around the world; they are white or yellow, with a taxi sign on the top and a "COMUNE DI ROMA" sign on the doors. People offering "taxi rides" are illegal drivers and expensive cheaters. Even with official taxis, if you don't feel easy about the amount of money they ask you for, please buzz us before paying and we will be very, very happy to come down in the street to check it. Even official taxi drivers try often to get more money than their due fare, but if they risk their license they suddenly become more reasonable.
