 Locanda degli Antiquari is located in the historical centre of Rome, in Via dei Gabrielli, a narrow and quiet private road very close to Via dei Coronari, a very suggestive road, celebrated by artists and poets. At walking distance there are, among other sites, Castel San'Angelo, Piazza Navona, the Pantheon, San Peters' square (the Vatican) and Piazza Campo dei Fiori. There are also many other important monuments close-by such as the Chiesa di San Salvatore in Lauro, Santa Maria in Vallicella and Palazzo Altemps. Renaissance buildings and baroque squares are mixed with quiet mediaeval alleys, where it is possible to find artisans shops and speciality shops. The area is rich of premises where to listen to good music, pizzerias and restaurants for any taste and need. |

Coming by Plane:
- From Leonardo da Vinci Airport (Fiumicino- FCO) take the "Leonardo Express" up to Termini railway station. Once there you can reach us by taxi, by metro or by bus. If you choose to come by public transportation you can take metro A in Battistini direction up to Barberini stop, then take bus n. 116 and get off at via Zanardelli. Take via dei Coronari and after approx. 200 meters you will find via dei Gabrielli on the left hand side. Otherwise from Termini railway station take bus n. 64 and get off at Ponte Vittorio Emanuele. Once there turn right onto via Paola and walk for approx. 150 meters. You will find via dei Gabrielli on the left hand side.
- From Ciampino airport take the Cotral or Schiaffini bus uo to Anagnina stop and then metro A Battistini direction up to Barberini stop. Then take bus 116 and get off at Via Zanardelli. Take Via dei Coronari and you will find via dei Gabrielli after 200 meters on the left hand side. You will find us at number 92 with Relais Palazzo Taverna.
Coming by Train:
Follow the above instructions from Termini railway station.
Coming by Car:
From all directions you can reach us by taking the GRA (ring road), Aurelia exit. Proceed in direction Roma-Aurelio-Cittą del Vaticano-Stazione Aurelia. Continue on Piazza San Giovanni Battista De la Salle, Circonvallazione Aurelia, Piazza di Villa Carpegna. Turn left onto Via Gregorio VII, Piazza Pio XI, Via Gregorio VII, Piazzale Gregorio VII. Turn right onto Via di Porta Cavalleggeri, right again onto Sottopassaggio Principe Amedeo, Largo di Porta Cavalleggeri, Galleria Principe Amedeo Savoia-Aosta, Piazza della Rovere, Ponte Principe Amedeo Savoia-Aosta. Turn left onto Lungotevere dei Fiorentini, right onto Lungotevere degli Altoviti, Piazza di Ponte Sant'Angelo. Turn right onto Via di Panico, left onto Via dei Coronari, right onto Via dei Vecchiarelli, Piazza di San Salvatore in Lauro, Via dei Gabrielli. You will find us at number 92 with Relais Palazzo Taverna. |
