Very good accomodations, clean, big shower, good bed. Only thing needed is to put on the site the need to call 30 minutes before arrival which was not stated, so the person incharge will come and give the key. Although it is near the metro, it's better to get by a bus, a bus station to everywhere is at the entrance to the street. ... Lovely couple who runs the place, understand english pretty well and helpfull. ... Yes. First, you need to call 30 minutes before to the phone number so the person incharge will come and give you the key and explain everything. Second, the bus station near the street entrance is the best way to get into rome and all of the major places arround. Only positive things there is to say about the accomodation. ... A Lovely, warm, a place you can call home for several days of your stay, the room is very hospitable.

pickup-service at the airport was perfect ... What we expected from a 'bed and breakfast' was also a good breakfast. This was not available. We were provided by coffee from a machine and some crackers.

Our friends arrived first but were very complementary about their arr experience. ... Perhaps add a warning that parking is very limited ... Alex was very accommodating with our check out time allowing us to leave our bags in the accommodation to visit Rome before we left. ... Parking as a -ve ... A very convenient location to the Vatican, transport to and from Rome and also for onward travel to the north using Via Aurelia. It is a spacious apartment, quiet and comfortable.

We had pick up service from airport to the property although we had some initial problem of locating the driver. It will be better if you could suggest to the airport authorities to have a designated waiting area for pick-up purposes. ... The terrace gave us space to sit away from the room to enjoy the evening air. Also as it was a residential area, it was quiet and lots of greenery. ... Just like a home.

The b&b organised a taxi service for us and this was excellent, easy and good value for money. ... there was a dead rat on the terras, but the area seemed ok. We trashed it and the ladies could sit on the terras without fear again. ... simple breakfast, sitting together(6)only possible on the large terras ... nice large apartment b&b with great terras in walking distance to the vatican!

nice and helpful - couldn't be better :) ... lovely place - quiet side-street - 15 mins walking to Vatican. lovely. ... there was no check-out as-it, as payment was done, so there were no further formalities to do.
we agreed to 'just leave', and that's what we did. ... the only noteworthy thing was a pre-packed breakfast standing on the table. coffee available through an operate-yourself coffee-machine. ... lovely quiet place, perfect to explore the west of Rome and Vatican. recommendable.

Our car broke down on the way from the airport, and they had another car meet us to take us the rest of the way, but no reduction in price was given. ... The breakfast was just packaged pastries- nothing fresh and we had to get our own coffee every morning. ... It was a little farther out of town than we expected and busses were not readily enough available so we usually had to walk a mile up a hill to get home every day. ... Nice, but a little far out of town.

The family that run this establishment were very accommodating and very helpful in all areas. ... A very clean, comfortable accommodation with very helpful proprietors. Very accessible to public transport and we were given every consideration to any request that we made.

I mentioned that I needed to go to a Bankomat, and it was immediately done. ... The stay was lovely and Rosella and Alex were extremely helpful. Highly recomend to anyone who wants to stay in close proximity to the Vatican but without the noise level of being 'downtown'. ... It was such a nice service to be picked up at the airport and brought back to the airport in such a nice vehicle and in such a timely manner. ... It's close proximity to the bus stop. I would recomend a coffee maker so we could make ourselves a cup of American coffee. How lovely the outdoor table is to just sit and relax and put your feet up after walking as much as we did. ... The best value ever. The room was clean, spacious and perfect for someone who wants to be sightseeing all day and most of the night. The accomodations are not fancy, but for us perfect, as the goal was to be out seeing as much as we could. We had the pleasure of meeting other guest staying there and it was lovely.

The way to King David was a bit confusing, according to the plan on the website. From Ottaviano San Pietro (M) to the bus there is still a 10 minutes walking distance, not as stated on the website 'Out of underground take Bus 49'. Plus, Via Aurelia has a lot of stops, all called 'Via Aurelia'. Anyway, not that bad. A good opportunity to practice Italian language. :) ... It was definitely nicer and more intimate than a hotel, even though the coffee was not the best we've ever tried. ... No problems. Even more, nobody pressed us with checking out time, and we were even given the opportunity to leave our lagguage in until the afternoon, something which we would have probably done, if we knew what a huge cue was at the termini 'left luggage'. :) ... It is a bit far away from the centre, and even though close to the Vatican, still a good walking distance from the entry. ... Very nice, clean, intimate, feeling more like staying with friends than in a strange town. Very good value for the money. Definitely worth it.

We were picked up at the airport by a very nice driver. ... We were picked up at exactly the right time at the via appia antiqua with our luggage, so we could spend the whole last day sightseeing in Rome ... very good value for money

I was really glad that I had asked about a shuttle service from the airport to the hotel, it would have been difficult to find in the dark and with all our bags. ... We had all the facilities that we needed, however, the breakfast was really nothing to speak of.Lots of milk, but cereal to go with it would have been nice and maybe some orange juice. We were tired of dry toast and we didn't care for the packaged pastry. We were left on our own but there was someone to meet us and he was very nice and very helpful. We did not see him again. ... Rooms were nice and clean.I liked being able to eat on the patio especially since it was so hot. I was glad to have air-conditioning.The location was fine.We could walk to the vatican as stated, but it was a bit further than we expected. We always had enough milk for breakfast, but it really wasn't what I expected for a bed and breakfast. We had fabulous breakfasts in other b&b's for less money, but it was right in Rome. I would recommend it.

The person checking us in was most helpful and exceptionally courteous. We would have liked more detailed information on using the bus system to get around the city. (for instance, a map of the route) ... The apartment was not as clean as it should have been. The patio area neeed cleaned and floor needed washed - I walked around in my stocking feet the first night and they were black from the floor.
Additionally, we had rented a three bedroom apartment but the third bedroom was locked so that we could not use it because we only had 2 couples. We would have liked to use the 3rd bedroom that we paid for. ... Okay but not as clean as it should have been.

very nice and affordable but kind of far from the center and not a walkable area--i.e. there were not many places that could be easily reached on foot.

Actually 'bed & breakfast' was not accurate because the breakfast was actually only some cookies and coffee taken from an automatic coffee maker. Last time we were in Ireland and there you really get breakfast what is made for you. ... Decent and affortable. Very nice room.

Had a very difficult time locating the property. I am not sure what the hotel could do, maybe some bus line instuctions. ... I appreciate the breakfast but King David should be careful calling what they provide as a bed and breakfast. I expected something more than vending machine food. ... Internet service in our room was very helpful. ... Nice value, clean, well maintained.
