Alex was very welcoming - it felt like we were checking in with a relative, not just the hotel clerk. ... The place was always very clean, and surprisingly quiet, for being close to the train station. Our hosts were very sweet and lovely and accommodating. ... We'd paid soon after we'd arrived, all we had to do was leave the key on our way out. Couldn't be simpler... ... It doesn't mention that there is a kitchen in the flat, although there was a note for another guest telling them not to use the stove - I don't know if that was temporary or not. But there's a refrigerator, toaster, hot pot, and dishes available for guests to use, whenever. ... An honest-to-god little Roman apartment. I felt I knew what it's really like to live in Rome, not just stay in some big American corporate chain.
