From the airports to the train stations:
Roma Fiumicino Airport "Leonardo da Vinci" FCA It has a small 3 track train station from which you can either take the Direct Train to Roma Termini (scheduled every 30 minutes, leaving on the 7th and the 37th minute of every hour from 6:37 to 23:37, tickets are Euro 8.78, and it will take 32 minutes).
Most Comfortable Tip is to ask us to book your a personal pick-up at the airport. As we don't take "the front desk commission", having your chauffeur waiting for you at the arrivals ends up being a much better, cheaper, and reliable service then any taxi. A car for up to 4 people costs 40.00 Euro, luggage included.
Roma Ciampino Airport CIA It is the closest airport to town, but, having a lesser number of flights landing there, it has no train connection to the centre of Rome. The least expensive option to reach us is a bit complicated and long, but quite inexpensive. You would have to take the Airport shuttle (about every 30 minutes) to Anagnina, the first stop of the underground Metro line A. Get off at the Termini Station.
Public transport system: the 75-minute ticket costs Euro 0.77, are valid on bus/tram/metro, can be bought at tabacco shops, newspaper kiosks, bars, and have to be validated in the machine on board the bus. Daily tickets cost Euro 3.10 and are on sale at Transport System Booths, Roma Termini, the Coliseum Underground Stop. There is also a weekly ticket available for Euro 12.40. |
