The staff is superb--they were warm and efficient. Every detail was perfect. ... Beyond the reception staff, the housekeeping and kitchen staff were just as warm and accommodating. The breakfast area was a wonderful way to start each day---for a small extra fee were were able to have an omelette each morning and ejoyed as many cappuccinos as our hearts desired. A nice breakfast buffet was also available free of charge. ... My only negative comment would be the lights next to our twin beds (I was traveling with a girlfriend). We were both disappointed that the tableside light fixtures were so short and that each had only a 25 watt bulb. There was just no way to read in bed unless you had on the overhead light which didn't really work as proper reading light as the ceilings are so high. Also meant it would keep the other person awake if just one wanted to read late. Taller fixtures and brighter bulbs a must.
... Charming. Beautiful terrace for breakfast or having a late night cocktail. Wonderful bed linens and good beds. We got bigger bath towels than those first supplied in the bath with a simple request of housekeeping and all the towels were of very good quality. The reception staff, especially Alessandro, had very good english skills and they directed us to a wonderful dinner spot in the immediate area were we dined several nights. All in all a perfect hotel to spend a few days, or longer. I initally chose the location because it was back from the main street and I assumed it would be quiet due to this setback. That proved to be true. The hotel is very quiet and a peaceful refuge after the noise and bustle of the center of Roma. We like to walk, and did so from the hotel to centro each day. No problem if you've got good walking ability.

Very Professional and quick. We were in our room within 5 minutes of arrival. ... Charming outdoor lounge. Breakfast was more variety than expected. Everything fresh and delicious. Service extremely polite. ... Again, prompt & professional. Our cab to the airport was early, and suggested a stop at a church on the way to view St. Peters through a keyhole. ... A great value, nice people, residential neighborhood. Decent reasonable retaurants, within walking distance.

The Villa Del Parco is a very pretty boutique hotel. Staff was superb; friendly, very helpful, accomodating us with all our needs. We were especially appreciative of their willingness to book a few last minute reservations on some tours. They also called ahead to our next destination for directions. The breakfast staff was excellent as well and the breakfast itself offered a nice variety of food. The room needed updating. Particularly with the lighting. The room was rather dark and a little dingy. A fresh coat of paint and a few more lamps could make a lot of difference. Otherwise the Villa Del Parco made for a nice stay in Rome. The staff were all exceptionally wonderful and helpful, I highly recommend your hotel. ... My room was crowded with three separate beds, so there's not really a good place to sit and relax. That was the only downside of my stay - hard to find a place for suitcases for four people plus the beds. ... Can't think of any right now. ... A beautiful and very clean place. Staff were very polite and knowledgeable - very helpful on transportation and restaurant recommendations. Good breakfast and coffee. Bathrooms are large and roomy.

This survey is a real pain. There should be NO REQUIRED ANSWERS. You are lucky to get what you get. Don't push your luck or you'll get really nasty answers. ... Hotel Villa del Parco was fantastic. The staff was incredibly kind and helpful in every way. We had our passports and cash stolen by a pickpocket, and the hotel helped in every possible way to assure that we had no problems. The rooms were very comfortable and clean, and the breakfasts and sandwiches later in the day were wonderful. We would stay there any time we were in Rome in the future. ... Coinvenient, clean, efficient, with a most professional and caring staff at every level.

Everybody was always very helpful and friendly. ... The rooms were always very clean and the staff very friendly and helpful. They made our stay in Rome very memorable.
... They had our transport to the airport reserved and were as always helpful and friendly. ... Emphysizes the great breakfast and a picture of the breakfast room. Since you talk about how you don't need a restaurant in the Hotel because Rome has so many places to eat (which is true) this Hotel is located a little on the outside, it was great to have the continental breakfast. They also had highspeed internet connection for the guest, that was great! ... A very friendly, clean, great sevice and with people that care about you. The Hotel also had an 'italian feeling' . The breakfast was one of the highlights, with very friendly personal serving you. A great place that I would stay again if I came back to Rome!!

This hotel was the best place out of the 3 that we stayed in while in Italy. ... The breakfast was delicious. Very helpful and friendly service. We really enjoyed staying at this hotel. The only negative aspect was it's distance from the historic center of town, but it was worth the taxi drive.

For the third time I have had a delightful visit this wonderful, warm and family oriented hotel. About 10 years ago I stayed here because it was close to the office with which I was associated. About two years later I returned on a business/pleasure trip and decided to stay here again. About 10 minutes after I checked in, a maid to came to my door with two dress shirts I had forgotten on my prior trip. They had been cleaned, pressed and folded beautifully, without charge, and with no indication from me that I had intended to return.
On this last visit I took my daughter, son-in-law and 9 year old granddaughter for a 9 day visit at Easter. The hotel has been refurbished and the facilities are even more inviting than before, but the staff had the same personal concern and attention to our needs, arranging tickets for the Borghese Galleria and for the Rapido to and from Florence, with no extra charge and a with genuine desire to make our visit as convenient as possible.
I have stayed in fine hotels in Rome (on more than 50 visits there) and throughout the world, including the Santa Caterina in Amalfi and the Mezzatorre on Ischia, but the Hotel del Parco always comes to mind when I think of my best hotel experiences. ... Although we had to leave at 6:30AM to catch our return flight, before the dining area opened for breakfast, we had the usual breakfast with no extra charge and the same caring service. ... Only as above ... As above

The only drawback to this hotel is the fact that it is located on a very busy thoroughfare. Fortunately, we were given a room off the side of the building but nevertheless you hear the traffic quite a bit, especially when you leave the windows open. Other than that we have only good comments ... Small, charming hotel with a lovely patio - good buffet breakfast and above all, very pleasant staff. Less than a 10 minute bus ride from the central train station Termini and metro stop a 7 minute walk. Elegant neighborhood with lovely townhomes.

The extra bed we had for our daughter was not padded very well and she could feel the springs through the padding so we moved it to the floor on the first night. When we came back we were going to mention it to them, but they had already moved a great cot in for her. Very impressed with this service.
... Only negative was further from some of the main tourist sights then I realized. Yet, bus service was very inexpensive and very easy to catch. This was a wonderful stay, would defintely stay here again.

We had asked for a car to pick us up at the airport and it was there waiting. Good driver. It was however expensive at 55 euros. Was picked up and taken to the airport on our return by another company for 40 euros. ... The staff couldn't have been more helpful, giving directions to restuarants in the neighbourhood and how to get to obscure places, etc. ... I think it was good value for money considering the rates in Rome. By Canadian standards it was expensive had we gotten the quad room reserved. However, with the two rooms that they substituted for the quad at the same price, it became good value. ... One of the lit street signs advertising the hotel has the arrow pointing the wrong way. We were actually walking in the correct direction, when we came upon this sign and then turned around only to find some time later, that the sign had been in error. ... Exceptionally clean and quiet. A little out of the way, but worth it.

The hotel was very clean and comfortable. However it was 'less stylish' than it appeared on the web site and older with some maintainence needed. (peeling paint etc.) ... Very convenient location. (I can't remember if is said this) ... Functional, convenient, clean and comfortable. Good breakfast. Helpful English speaking staff at the front desk when we checked in. Great showers. Rooms are older and need a little maintainence.

I didn't need a map etc as I knew where the hotel was located. The reception was very friendly and no hassle at all. ... I had visited the hotel before hand (not as a guest) so more or less knew what to expect. The room I had was not huge but a good size by Rome standards. It was clean etc. Nice shower/ bathroom. No air conditioning. ... Very accommodating and arrnaged for taxis whenever I wanted them. ... Better than normal Italian breakfast. Very nice staff/cook at breakfast. ... If in (that part of) Rome, then stay at the Hotel Villa del Parco
Please note that there is nothing more annoying when filling in a questionnaire than being forced to give answers to questions you don't want to ask or are irrelevant. I normally refuse to answer them if this occurs. This time I have put a silly answer in question q because I'm forced to answer and I wanted you to know how annoying this is.

The staff was particularly attentive and helpful AND DESERVE HIGH MARKS.The room was smaller and more spartan than expected.A room facing the road was quite noisy. Double pane windows would help. A higher wattage light bulb would have made reading in bed easier. Bathroom was great, breakfast was great. ... Smaller and noisier than anticipated. ... Went perfectly. Staff at front desk was great and consistently provided information and help with a smile. ... Photo makes grounds look larger than they are. ... Very small room , great staff. Make sure you get a larger room away from the road.

The internet connection was not very good, but I don't consider that the hotel's fault. ... I would have been helpful to know that the hotel is a very long way from any of the main tourist attractions and that you must be prepared for up to 30 minutes on the bus to reach anything, including restaurants. ... Very nice hotel in a quiet neighborhood with a lovely outdoor garden and excellent staff, but a long way from anywhere.
There aren't any facilities or special accommodations for children, but it is a lovely place for adults who don't mind the time and effort to get in to the city proper.

The rooms at the front are rather noisy as it is a busy road, although well set back from the road. Anyone wanting a quieter night should request a back room ... small, friendly and very clean.
