Travellers Reviews

We arrived at 7.30 am after a long overnight flight from Hong Kong. There was no provision for us to have a shower or anything and we had to wait until lunchtime to get our room. I appreciate room check in is after 2.00 pm but arrangements could be made for thise coming in so early from so far. ... Room sizes were a little smaller than expected but I guess an older building has these limitations.
Initial impression of the room, although very clean and modern was that it lacked a bit of personality, very basic. We had to ask for coffee making facilities which stayed in our room for the week but we had to continuously ask for them to be topped up and for cups when the staff removed the dirty ones. Can this not be included in every room and topped up daily? ... Very smooth process. Reception staff were extremely polite ... No, WEB site is great ... Excellent central hotel, clean and refurbished close to all attractions

Maybe 1 - 1 1/2 Kilometer from Trevi, Piazza Navona, and Spainish steps. The Metro (Subway) will get you close to the Spagno (Spainish steps). Only 1 Euro 1 way on Metro. TV in room was adequate even though we did not use it. You don't need a TV in Rome anyway. Go see the sights, people, culture and be immersed. You won't be home to your room till 10 PM or later anyway if you want the full experience. ... You won't find a Hotel much closer to Termini, Metro (Subway), or bus stations, but there are a few. I would recommend a small magnifying glass for the Rome maps, as the ones supplied by the information booth by Termini station are in small print. I would recommend the Metro for sights such as Vatican, Coliseum, and Catacombs tours, and do take the tours. The metro is close. The coliseum tour you can line up as you get there. ... We would stay again. They were very helpful in helping us make reservations at the next hotel. They spoke English. There is a porter to help with bags if need be, but not required. They do hold your bags for you if checking out by noon and still want to look around Rome in afternoon, for no charge. It might be a good idea to tip the porter for his help. I wouldn't use the Termini bag check as the line was too long. ... The continental breakfast was very good. Linen table cloths, various cereals, coffee, orange juice, Croissants, rolls, fruits, bottled water, meats, cheese, dessert, and other such items. Many workers keeping foods supplied and tables cleaned off and reset. ... It is fairly close to the Termini Station only about 4-5 blocks. It was on a side street which was good for not much fast traffic. We could open the windows which was good for fresh cool night air. Noise was no problem with windows open. There is Air conditioning also. No screens on windows which was not a problem, since there were no bugs.

Very Good price (90 € per night) for a four stars hotel close to the train station. Clean and modern rooms. Breakfast is enough to start the day.

Although I got the accommodation agreed in my voucher, which I had with me, my reservation had not reached the hotel. Luckily this did not cause any further trouble, but it should have been avoided. ... There was no minibar - though one could be requested. Instead there was an empty refrigerator. ... Minibar must be requested. Otherwise, there is just an empty refrigerator. ... Conveniently located hotel with very good room. Bathroom quite luxurious.
