When we arrived at the airport I phoned the hotel and was met within 5 minutes by the owner in his porsche 4x4. He couldnt speak much English, but, was very friendly. The hotel was located about a 5-10 mins drive away. ... I definetly recomend this hotel, it is just a 15 minute walk through the village to the train station. The village itself has lots of restaurants, supermarkets etc... (and a very cheap chinese) The train system is very easy to use and it takes just 15-20 mins to arrive at Rome Termini. Train fare is 1.30 Euro or 40 Euros in taxi. The staff were very friendly, the owners could not speak English, but, there older children could, so was easy to understand each other. The Sunday morning we left our room around 1pm after a very late night and the staff insisted we had coffee and croissants as we missed breakfast (free of charge). All in all, the hotel is quiet with very friendly staff, in a busy little village with just a short train ride to Rome. Would definetly return to this hotel.
... Checking out was very easy, they kept our bags there as our flight wasnt till later on in the day. The owners daughter gave us a lift to the airport. ... Very friendly, cosy and clean.

Very pleasing welcome ... The hotel was of a very high standard and the family running it were second to none ... I would recomend the hotel to anybody, the rooms were spacious and spotless and the family run hotel could not make you feel any more welcome will go back some day

We had not printed off the on-line instruction thinking our taxi would know where to go but the taxi driver from Ciampino airport was not familiar with the town of Ciampino and had trouble with the 1-way streets but eventually located the hotel using the GPS ... Room was a discribed, we were just surprised at the height of the ceiling. We were in a dormer style room with many very low areas. You walked around in a stooped position for fear of bumping your head. ... The manager was wonderful in the fact that she drove us to the airport for our next flight and did not charge us anything. ... Mention the dormer style room with low ceiling in some of the areas. ... Dormer style room with low ceilings and a bit over priced for the area. We did not pay that in downtown Rome or in Sorrento. I would also say that there was nothing to do in the evenings since most stores did not reopen and restaurants were scarce.

The taxi driver charged us 30 euros from the airport to the hotel (approx 2.5kms)!!!
I should mention, however, that the hotel do offer a free pick-up from Ciampino airport and a bus also runs from the airport to Ciampino railway station (which is 800ms from the hotel) cost of 1 euro. ... The 3 night stay was excellent in a lovely hotel. The staff were very accommodating. ... The hotel 'proprietor' drove us to the airport free of charge for our flight home. This was greatly appreciated. ... The staff could not speak English, however this did not cause too many problems for us. ... The hotel was excellent and although 14kms from the centre of Rome, Ciampino railway station was approximately 800ms from the hotel and 10 minutes walk away. The train went to Rome Termini station (1.30 euros each way) where all of Rome was then accessible. I would not hesitate to book the hotel again.
