Hotel Le Petit was a wonderful place to stay. Anyone staying there should realise that it's a small place, just a floor of a lovely building, but it's very clean and the staff are really friendly and helpful. If you're a middle class traveller who just needs a very comfortable and well positioned base it's ideal. Just outside is a great tabachi, followed by a superb delicattessen and bar and a lovely restaurant. It's really well placed for the metro and you only have to walk to see either the main sites or access great backstreets with a eide range of restaurants and cafes. Go for it.

Staff was always available and polite.
The remote control did not work properly but was never replaced.
The telephone did not work.
The room permitted too much noise from the street. WAY too much noise.
Rooms were extremely clean and cozy.

very happy with hotel and staff
have already put a recommendation on trip advisors web site - only down side (although wouldnt stop me using hotel again) was a lot of noise from street due to volume of traffic. Would request room on the other side of hotel next time.
Staff also contacted our taxi service to book our return journey to airport for us

A small, nice city-hotel near to the termini station and the tube. Good for a stay in Rom for a few days to visit the sights of this beautiful city.
Single disadvantage: the noise from the traffic on the street. But that's normal: it's a city-hotel.

we booked two rooms, the size of the rooms varied greatly, one was spacious the other was very small. Stale cigarette smoke smell in one room which was not very pleasent to a non smoker, could they have separate non smoking room?

My partner and I were a little worried when we arrived at the hotel entrance as building work was taking place. This work made the entrance very untidy and at times noisy - I understand this needed doing but it made you think the hotel was in a state of disrepair.
The breakfast facilities was very basic - I would like to see more selection, maybe a selection of cold meats and cheeses for a continental breakfast. Maybe croissants and cereal is a typically Italian breakfast??

the hotel was undergoing renovation at the time of our visit, this meant that the room we stayed in was much better than those advertised on the website. some of our group were allocated rooms that had not been renovated yet but were still impressed with their accomodation.

Staff were nice and helpful - especially Gianni. Great location, clean, delicious cappucino and espresso, breakfast was enjoyable, within walking distance to the train station, great restaurants and shops closeby, safe (except for pickpockets), easy to walk to major sites, bus is easy to use.

I just would tell anyone to bring their own hairdryer. The one supplied by the hotel is ancient and is totally unacceptable. I wish I had known because I didn't take my own hairdryer based on the hotel's description of its amenities. That's really my only complaint. It was a truly nice hotel.

We had made a reservation for a driver from the hotel to pick us up at the airport. He was not there upon our arrival. We called the hotel who called his cell phone and said he WAS there. After a few more phone calls and 45 minutes of waiting, we ended up taking a taxi. This was not a great way to start the trip.

The room was VERY small. This is not a big problem, but it certainly appeared more spacious on the website. The one issue that was important was that the bed was so hard that it was extremely uncomfortable - almost as hard as sleeping on the floor.

I arrived at 11:00am in the morning. The room was not ready but they were able to store my luggage until it was. When I returned to the hotel later in the afternoon they had moved my bags into my room.

We did not get a balcony as I had specifically requested nor a discount. OUr room was adequate altough very small and the shutters did not open so it was very dark. Otherwise the hotel was fine.

The telephones were not working which meant one of our party had to go home early as he had to work on-line and could not plug his computer in. As mentioend above we got no balcony despite my specific request and confirmation. Our shutters would not open. Also one of teh receptionists mentioned a local restaurant EVERY time we saw him - it got quite annoying as he must have had a connection with the owners - he was pushing it quite hard.

We have stayed at the hotel before and was positive suprised that it had new rooms at 2nd floor. We had two rooms and one of them were very small, that's the only thing. The cleaning was very good and the breakfast had improved from last time.

There was some noise (outside and inside), because the windows are not very large and as the hôtel is small, we hear all noises from the reception desk and the bar because it is on the same floor. But it was not too important, I buy 'boules Quies'!

Upon arrival we had already been mugged and the hotel staff were very helpful with regard to how we should proceed with informing the police.

There are 7 rooms. One is very good with
a balcony and 30 E more, but the others
were of varying degrees of quality, but

We did not get the reserved room first night, but had to move to another hotel and come back to Petit next day due to overbooking.
The room we eventually got at Petit was very nice and the staff was from then very polite and serviceminded.
All in all not bad stay, but we were quite upset first evening.

Unfortunately I arrived at the same time as another couple, who unfortunately, did not get the room they requested - the receptionist was too busy with them to really help me all that much...plus, the phones were not working, and he wasn't able to direct me to a place where the phones did work...the phones didn't work for the entirety of my stay...

There was some street noise, which I expected...however, there was also quite a lot of noise from inside as well...the breakfast room (which seemed to be a lounge for all hours) was located directly outside my door, and if there wasn't a noisy party going on, then the tv was on loud - all of which I heard perfectly from my room...didn't make for a particularly restful stay...
