On our arrival via the hotel shuttle from the airport we were met before we got out of the car and our luggage was whisked inside and upon registering our luggage was waiting for us in our room our room

Our accommodation was very adequate,clean, and well tended and although we did not make too much use of the mini bar it was well stocked.

Once again our shuttle was prompt and our luggage was taken care of all very stress free.

A tea and coffee making vacility in the room would have been a nice addition.

A well kept hotel where the staff are 100% committed to making your stay enjoyable and stress free.
The hotel is very well situated and within walking distance of the major sights and the Vatican is but a short bus ride away a good base for those that have come to see Rome,and the food well this must be the food capital of the world.

Our arrival was guided very helpful. No hassle
at all, just easygoing friendliness. Finding
the hotel the first time was a little tricky
because it doesn't have a clear sign stating
the name. It's just a sign with the word
'Hotel'...

If you're not looking for a big place, but a
very nice, relaxed and clean place to stay
near the centre of Rome, this has to be highly
recommended. Very clean everywhere, and very
nice and helpful staff... The place is very
cosy and intimate. The rooms are a bit small,
but that didn't bother us in the least,
because everything is there. The price is
right. We'd certainly go there again.

The hotel had arranged for its chauffeur service - the owner's son-in-law - to meet us at the airport. Our plane was more than an hour and a half late and then baggage was extremely slow. I didn't think the driver would wait, but he did and was so pleasant. He gave us a mini tour of the city on the way to the hotel, pointing out all the sites. He was such a joy and we were glad to see him several times during our stay.

The hotel was wonderful. Every area was kept spotless. Bed and bath linens were changed daily. Air conditioning was very good. They had recently redone the rooms so even the bathroom was very modern and nice. With the double windows and shutters, it was quiet, even though our room faced the busy Via Tritone. Rooms had no extra space, but that is to be expected in a small hotel in Europe. The rooms had a small safe, hair dryer, and a mini refrigerator with prices that were cheaper than we could buy the items at a store. Breakfast was lovely: yogurt, juice, wonderful breads, best coffee in Rome.

The people who worked at the hotel were just lovely: it was like staying in a large home. We got to know several members of the family and the other few employees since we were there 9 days.

One of the best things about the hotel was its location. We were two blocks from the Trevi Ft., three blocks from the Spanish Steps, and a 10 minute walk from just about anywhere we wanted to go. The neighborhood was busy, wonderful and so safe. We were just two women and never felt the least bit nervous. Even late at night, 1000 people would be walking around eating and shopping at fabulous side walk vendors. Bus stops and metro entrances were only 50 feet from the hotel.

We booked through the hotel a taxi to pick us up from the airport and take us ot the hotel. As soon as we arrived we felt that they were expecting us, the room was ready ad the people very friendly and nice.

They organised a taxi for us to take us to the airport. The taxi was at the hotel to pick us up exactly on time.

Please include that the location of the hotel is excellent. We walked all the time - we did not use the metropolitana even once or the buses!!!

We arrived early at 8am, checkin was much later, our bags were stored for us and we asked for a coffee before sightseeing Rome -the coffee was free. The receptionist is a treasure.

I expected matchbox size room and was pleasantly surprised to find it more spacious than this. Still small by NZ standards but ok.

We felt somewhat disappointed when we arrived at the hotel. It really doesn't look impressive from the outside, but the minute we got inside we were just fine. Everything is refurbished, up to date, and in perfect condition. Our room was beautiful and so was the bathroom.

The room was rather small but perfect for us two middle aged people. We enjoyed the good air conditioning, the quietness, the excellent beds, and the cosy but tiny bathroom. There are, however, no real chairs in the room, so it is a sleep only, which was perfect for us. We were there to spend all time awake in the streets, the shops, and the restaurants of Rome - of course after enjoying our breakfast and a warm smile from the girl serving our hot cappuccino in the tiny breakfast room at the our hotel.

We should check out from the hotel by 11, but it was no problem to leave our luggage there and just pick it up when we headed for the Metro later in the afternoon.

Looking at the map of the classic centre of Rome you may not realise how close the hotel is to the major attractions. From Hotel Delle Regioni it is only a matter of minutes to get to Piazza del Trevi or Piazza de Spagna. In a matter of fact all parts of classic Rome are within walking distance from the hotel.

If I should describe Hotel Delle Regioni in one word it would be “CUTE”. It is so appealing and delicate, everything is small but sufficient, their staff is friendly and helpful, and the situation couldn’t be better if you really want to experience Rome. We hope to be back some day.

Hotel Delle Regioni is in the heart of Rome; walking distance to everything with the Metro nearby. The rooms are clean, free of smoke (a plus in Italy)and comfortable-a good value for the location. I will stick with this hotel when we visit Rome in the future. A top pick-just what I was looking for!

rating is relative to Rome and the
locastion...compared to southern France and
other locations it is pricey .

the hotel ebtry way opens onto an alley which
has scooters , cars etc parked and passing by
.The interior areas are well kept and
presented...a little attention at the front
entry way wud provide a sharper sense of
arrival .

Rome by foot . Dont be put off by the lack of
curb appeal at the entry way ..hotel is clean
, well kept and the service attentive and
helpful .

All the staff were very friendly! The hotel address is a little misleading as the entrance is not on Via del Tritone but otherwise everything was great.

Note that the hotel is on a small side street that appears a little scary. It is fine but upon arrival can be a little disconcerting.

The air conditioning was not working the first night so we had to open the windows and wear earplugs to bed as the hotel is located on a busy street.It was repaired the next day and cool & quiet in the room. The breakfast offered was pretty limited but the cappucino's were the best! The staff were all pleasant and helpful and the location is great and convenient to many of the best sights. The bus stop is right outside the entrance.

Maybe mention about the bus stop being a few steps away from the entrance to take you anywhere in Rome easily.

The rooms are small but are adequate and quiet and very clean. The bathrooms are small but livable. The towels were large, plenty and fresh. The bathroom itself needed a few minor repairs. The showers are very small.

The rooms were the most expensive of our trip of 3.5 weeks and would never go for that price in the US, but for Rome, it was acceptable.

Yhe breakfast was less than we expected and in very crowded quarters. There really needs to be some protein in the breakfast.

Very conveniently located. We walked everywhere except the Vatican where we took the subway. The staff who spoke only minimal English (some no English) were very helpful and friendly. The comments from former guests who spoke well of the staff are what made us decide to use the hotel and we were very pleased.

Room had a damp musty smell, presumably from the air-conditioning. The flourescent lighting in the room didn't always work (flickered).
