1) Gabriella, at the front desk was marvelous
2) We asked to have the air conditioning
working , for two days. It was never
repaired, but it was cool enough with
the windows opened..but noisy.
Great location..lovely breakfasts,and
bar-sitting room. We'd certainly stay
again on our next visit....in ROOM 50
(we were in room 45)

The only possible negative comments I could make are about the dining room (lit like a stadium with blinding spotlights)/waitstaff (undermanned and not overly pleasant)/food (truly bad). I didn't come here for the food, however, and fortunately. The hotel is impeccable, stylish and comfortable. Although the rooms and bathrooms are rather small, they are so incredibly well designed that two women with a large array of toiletries and cosmetics could comfortably get ready at the same time AND actually see what they were doing! I would definitely stay there again.

I really didn't look at the website very carefully. I was recommended to the hotel by a trusted Italian friend.

As I did in number 10, also with the warning that it's a bit of a hike from the historic center and the hotel is not equipped with maps of Rome that include their location. None of our maps did either. We had to buy a map that extended farther out from the center.

We took a taxi from FCO airport and the driver had a most difficult time finding the hotel.

The distance from the city center could be a deterrant to tourists. But it was nice and quiet

very beautiful hotel and accomodations. my only complaint would be that you have coffee available in the rooms....the coffee in the breakfast area wasn't very good. other than that, i would go back again and again!
