By plane: Ciampino airport is only 2,5 kilometres from the property, and you can ask for the free shuttle service provided by the Hotel Louis (if it is available at the moment of your arrival), from 8am to 7.30pm. The other airport in Rome is Fiumicino, placed 33 km from the inn. Both terminals are connected to Ciampino through public transport.
By car: It will take you no more than 2 minutes to reach the Hotel Louis from Ciampino airport. Just go along the SS7DIR motorway, take Via della Folgarella and turn right at Via Palmiro Togliatti. Take your left at Viale del Lavoro and your right at Via Monte Grappa, where you will find the hotel on number 25.
From Fiumicino Leonardo Da Vinci airport, you will have around 25 minutes to the lodging. Get on the A91 highway, then the A90/E80 and get off at Exit 23 "Appia/ Roma". Continue along the SS7 motorway, and afterwards turn right in the SS7DIR. Already in Ciampino, take Via della Folgarella and follow the directions already described.
By train: From Fiumicino airport, you must take the Leonardo Express shuttle train up to Termini station in Rome, and from there get a connection to Ciampino (this will take you around 1 hour and 10 minutes). At Termini station there are around 60 daily services reaching Ciampino in not more than 15 minutes, and once you reach the station, you may also ask for the free shuttle service provided by the hotel. However, if you are not carrying heavy luggage you may also walk, as the distance to the Hotel Louis is of only 100 metres: take Via 4 Novembre, turn left in Viale del Lavoro and then right into Via Monte Grappa. Another way to reach central Rome is to take bus 551, leaving every 20 minutes up to the underground station Anagnina, which belongs to line A. |
