By plane: It is really easy to reach the hotel from both airports in Rome, Ciampino (28 kilometres away, approximately 32 minutes by car) and Fiumicino or Leonardo Da Vinci (32 kms, 35 minutes drive). There are all sorts of means of public transport to get to your room easily and fast.
By car: At Ciampino, take the SS7DIR motorway and go along Via dei Ciampino before getting on SS7 and then, A90 highway: stay on this track for around 13 kilometres, till exit "Foro Italico/ Nomentano/ Tiburtino". As you arrive in Rome, take your right into Via della Stazione Tiburtina. Continue along Via Catania, Via Bari, Viale del Policlinico, and veer right in Piazzale di Porta Pia, joining Via 20 Settembre. Turn left in Largo Santa Susanna, go along Leonida Bissolati and veer left in Via di San Basilio. Continue along Via del Tritone, turn right in Via dei Due Macelli and pass Piazza di Spagna. You will be driving along Via del Babuino before turning left in Via Laurina.
If your plane lands in Leonardo Da Vinci-Fiumicino airport, get on the A91 highway towards the signs indicating the A1, Via della Magliana and Grande Raccordo Anulare. Continue along the A90 highway and get off at the EXIT 1 "ROMA/ AURELIO/ SS1/AURELIA/E80/A12/CIVITAVECCHIA". You will soon arrive in Rome, where you must turn left in Via Gregorio VII, go on straight till you cross the river, and continue along the street parallel to the river, Lungotevere Tor di Nona and Lungotevere Marzio. Veer right into Via Tomacelli, left in Via Belsiana and right into Via Vittoria. You will end up in Via del Babuino. Then follow the directions already described.
By train: From both airports you can reach Termini central station, either on the Leonardo Express leaving from Fiumicino or the Sitbusshuttle Bus at Ciampino. They both reach the train station in 30 to 45 minutes: once there, you may take a taxi to the hotel or get on the subway (line A, direction Battistini). Descend at Flaminio stop, which is placed 300 metres from the inn. |
