(1) The staff at Hosianum Palace are wonderful.(2) Since the hotel is located on a small one-way alley on a large block, finding the hotel the first time was not easy. Once we got there everything was great.

They overcharged for internet access. Wireless requires an overpriced subscription, and if guests use the desktop in the bar area, the hotel charge is way out of line. Since everything else about the hotel - rooms, faclities, staff assistance, breakfast, central location, etc. - is exceptional, this lapse is not consistent with the overall operation of the hotel.

All the staff were always happy to help and give information about where to go and what to do in rome as well as how to travel around italy. however we were looking forward to eating our breakfast on the roof but this was not an option but the breakfast was very good from down stairs.

I have already reccommended the hotel to other people stating that is a nice friendly hotel and very close to all the main tourist attractions but still quiet

Room was clean, air conditioned, bathroom had soap, shampoo, hair dryer, etc...
No problems at all.

If your room is facing the front street of the hotel, and you would like to open the windows, there are many garbage bins in front of you. It is not a pretty site. But it was no problem for us. We were touring all day, as most people would. At night we used the air conditioner. We did not open the window.

I would say, perfect location, excellent value, breakfast included, clean. Overall, I would definately recommend.

Alitalia had lost one of our suitcases so we were hot and tired and unhappy but our check-in at the hotel was fine. The staff was very efficient and agreed to call the airline later in the day to check on the lost luggage.

We stayed for three days. Our room was very nice and very clean. We had three people in the room and it was a good size. The bathroom was big and clean. The breakfast was very nice each of the three mornings and the rooftop where it was served was beautiful.

Alitalia found our suitcase and the hotel staff put a written message in our room telling us it had arrived, and also told us right away as soon as they saw us return to the hotel that day.
We liked the area of the hotel, and the fact that it was off on a little side street made it very quiet.

The bathrooms, although small, were immaculate, as were the bedrooms. The beds were a little hard, but we were so tired at the end of our days we had no problems sleeping.

I don't have time to check the website but I would summarize:
Positive: a great value, clean and comfortable, a good breakfast (but choices diminish if you get up late), a FABULOUS location for sightseeing, most of the staff spoke some English
Negative: (these are minor annoyances that truly didn't bother us) small rooms,but the double we stayed in was fine (our daughter's single was tiny), no place in bathroom to set toiletries (they give you a stool under the sink)

If you want to be within walking distance of most of Rome's famous sights and want a comfortable, clean hotel with reasonable prices, stay here.

We would certainly stay there again. The hotel was lovely and the staff was great and the location was wonderful right in the center of everything you would want to see.We walked to all the sites, never needing a cab the entire time.

I would describe the hotel as very modern/updated. The rooms were clean and bright and thes staff was the best. My girlfriend and I stayed there for a shopping trip and really enjoyed ourselves.

Best location for walking the sites of Rome. We walked to all our destinations including Vatican City. It was such a great home base - which is important when trying to see the sites in such a big city. One of the staff members (older gentleman) gave us a map of Rome and highlighted the roads we needed to get to the destinations we were interested in seeing.

Very clean and classy. Quiet, central, and great location. It was hard to find at times because it is tucked back on a side street. Wonderful roof top terrace. Room was on the small side, but elegant.

We had requested a child's cot - but this was not in our room when we arrived. However, it was supplied when asked for.

For one of our party they had only booked in for two nights (whilst the rest of us had 3). However, they were initially charged for 3 nights until we showed them our booking confirmation which clearly showed just 2 nights were booked.

A comfortable hotel in a great location. Set in a quiet street yet within 5-10 minutes walk of the main sites - this hotel offers great value for money with helpful and friendly staff available at all times.

An english speaking staff member was very difficult to find. Also, I would not expect them to recommend 'personal' choices for dinner locations. The staff members will provide you with business cards of restaurants the hotel has agreed to advertise for. The staff also did not know the bus system and was not willing to help me find the bus I needed. The only exception is the staff knew which buses to catch to/from the train station.

A great place to stay if you will not spend much time in the hotel and do not need to rely on the hotel personnel to help you with finding places to see and and eat.

I prepared a detailed map, otherwise I could have a nightmare. The location is actually easy to find if your map on the web-site is more specific in relation to Piazza Venezia. Need to improve.
