Gladiator Rooms is located just between S. Maria Maggiore Basilica and Porta Maggiore, 10 min. walk from Termini Railway Station. All of the connections from/to the Airports originate from and arrive at the Station (Intercontinental "Fiumicino - Leonardo da Vinci" Airport by train, and International Low Cost "Ciampino" Airport by bus/pulmann). The Underground service is a few steps from our building (stations: Vittorio Emanuele, Manzoni and Termini) as well as the bus & tram network (105, 5, 14 and night 12 & 50), including the "3" tram line to the archaeological site (Circo Massimo and Caracalla Baths) and Trastevere (restaurant & pubs area). Many of the most relevant sites to visit (S. Croce in Gerusalemme Basilique, S. Giovanni in Laterano Basilica, Coliseum, Fori Imperiali, Roman Ancient Market, etc.) are easily reachable on foot, simply walking thorough this historical city. |
By Plane
From Fiumicino, Leonardo da Vinci, international airport (30km) guests can catch the shuttle express train to Termini. The express train leaves around every 25 minutes and takes you directly to Termini. From there guests can take, bus, tram or underground, just follow the instructions below.
From Ciampino airport (25km) you can take the shuttle bus up to Ciampino station and then the train up to Termini station. From there follow the instruction as below.
The Gladiator Rooms can also arrange a pick up service for guests on request.
By Train
Make your way to the nearest station which is Termini Railway Station and from there you can take bus 105 / Night buses 12 or tram 5 & 14 or alternatively use the Underground, A line, which is only 1 stop, getting out at Vittorio Emanuele station, exit for Porta Maggiore or 2 stops, getting out at Manzoni station. From the first underground stop walk right on Via P. Eugenio and the place is just up on the left at number 106, first floor. The bus and tram stop by Via P. Eugenio and from the stop simple walk up the road a few metres.
By Car
From A1 highway Milano-Napoli, exit at Roma Nord and then take the GRA (Grande Raccordo Anulare) ring road. Exit at Nomentana and follow the signs San Lorenzo - Pizza Vittorio Emanuele. Once arrived at Piazza Vittorio Emanuele take Via Principe Eugenio we are at number 106. |
