We got a taxi to the hotel, which the driver
knew how to get to. Staff were welcoming
friendly and helpful.

we were very happy to find someone at the reception speaking a fluent english.

the 2-bed room quite small, it was a little bit disturbing since one of the beds was complicated to get in / out.
the 3-bed room was a little noisy in the early mornings (traffic in the street)

i found it quite interesting that the hotel is only one level in a block - not common in case of a hotel

excellently situated hotel, rooms for fair rates, kind staff, perfect for tourists staying some days in roma. Extra advantage : great ristorante in the neighbour streets

room smelled like smoke, they moved us the next day when a room was available, the refrigerator didn't work, they exchanged it, then the dvd player didn't work.On of the desk clerks was rude, but the others were very helpful. The airconditioning and the electricity only works when you are in the room, therefore, the room was very hot every time you entered after a long day and items did not stay cold in the refrigerator. Shower door was broken and would not slide shut, water got everywhere when you took a shower. I would not recommend this hotel to friends.

good service when checking out the evening before, they also arranged a nice taxi for us to return to the airport.

would not recommend. very far from sites, subway was 4 blocks away, ( not too bad), area was very dirty, but felt safe walking, with only a few restaurants close by.

Unfortunately the way to the hotel (entrance of a common building) is not very clean and welcoming. The lifts are old.

Definitely we did not expect the hotel to be just one floor among many others in the building.
What's more, the room for breakfast is very small, around 10-12 m2, and noisy (juice machine and handy man working with a screw driver while we were having our breakfast on the first day).

Fairly nice, but a lot of traffic noise which wasn't so nice for example emptying garbich cans every night from 00.30 to 01.00

The rooms were very clean, but too small, particularly the single room.
The manager was very pleasant and helpful, and the staff spoke English so we found that very useful. Unfortunately the lift did not work on some occasions which was tiring for my elderly parents on the fourth floor.
