Valentina organised a driver to pick us up at the airport at our request, Geoffery the driver oriented us to the area and stopped at a stunning fountain and look out just around the corner to introduce us to Rome - magical. Valentina was at the B&B to meet us and made coffee as soon as we came in. She oriented us to the apartment, asked us about our plans and gave us any advice we wanted and let us know where we could easily find things locally. She was extremely welcoming and helpful beyond what we expected - again a fabulous introduction to Rome.

The photos do not quite do it justice but I don't know how you can capture the delightful ambience of this B&B. Valentina was fabulous giving advice, directions, helping us in any way we needed. She really provided the extra care and attention to our stay. We had rain during our stay and umbrellas were happily supplied.

When there were delays with taxis, Valentina organised for the driver who had picked us up at the airport to come in less than 5 minutes to take us where we had to go.

Set in a delightful well treed area amongst Villas, close to Gianicolo Hill/Park with a fabulous view over Rome. Excellent access to buses. Everything you need a short walk away. A lovely Breakfast provided daily.

We have already described it as: A lovely B&B, fabulous room with a patio overlooking gardens. Set in a lovely area of Rome a street full of trees, villas and embassies. Valentina who runs it, has excellent English, is an absolute delight and makes a fabulous breakfast every morning and gives excellent advice on what to do. We cannot wait to go back!

You experience living in a Roman neigbourhood far different from the usual tourist locations -get a feel for the 'real' Rome. You feel you are living in your own aparmtent; the owners are very unobtrusive.

Valentina was there to welcome us and show us our rooms and the rest of the B&B.

Valentina served a lovely breakfast and was friendly and helpful. The room was very comfortable and attractive. We enjoyed our stay there and wished it had been longer.

I would highly recommend Gianicolo's Home B&B to a friend as a pleasant, friendly and very comfortable place to stay while in Rome. If I return, I will definitely stay there again.
