Exceptionally polite and helpful receptionists with special mention of the 'Night Duty Receptionist.' Room was clean and tidy. No problems a very pleasant weekend - Grazi!! ... As initial comment. ... As above ... The hotel is described very well the only omission is the excellence of its staff, their knowledge of English and of Rome. ... Warm, friendly accomodation in a quiet part of Rome but easily accesible to all of the tourist spots. Helpful staff and an excellent breakfast. The staff all speak faultless English. Highly recommended..

When my room became available and I wanted to move in, it turned out that the room is on the 1st floor; I think that since there was no lift, the male receptionist should have offered to walk with me to find the room and carry my suitcase. He did so only after I asked him after I could not find my room. ... The room was tiny. It was originally a through-room with doors (locked) to next door rooms on either side. this means that everything in the next-door rooms was very audible, and sometimes my neighbours would try to open these respective doors, which was scary if they did it late in the evening. This is natural curiosity and I am not blaming them but the hotel, who should have at least removed the door-handles and sound-proofed the doors, e.g. by hanging thick curtains over them. The room was tiny and the curtains smelled of dust and cigarettes. the shower was so tiny that you could not bend down in it to wash your feet! The walls of the room were generally thin and so it was not possible to sleep well. Breakfast is only served from 7 am. I think that some coffee/tea facilities (like a self-service kettle and some teabags/coffee sachets) should be available for those of us leaving at 7 am like I did, since it is not possible to book accommodation without breakfast. The 'juice' at breakfast could be made a real orange juice rather than the sweet orange water it was, for the price paid. ... Breakfast times; there should be an option to book accommodation only, or get coffee/tea 24 hours (i.e. if departing earlier). Rooms are rather basic. ... Not worth value for money. Good location, if cost up to 50 euros/night, then worth staying, otherwise too overpriced

The coffe for brekfast was undrinkable. It was black in colour but had absolutley no flavor. After my first experience of morning coffe I changed for tea, that however was not much better. Please in italy you should be able to get a nice morning coffe! The host from Iran in the reception was nice and helpful and so were the otehr guys ... Nice environment with several places for dining where you blend with the locals and thus getting a good atmosphere of Italy

Frankly, I'm not sure exactly what we were expecting, but the bedroom and bath were extremely small, the wallpaper was peeling, the rooms were musty and mildewed. The toilet wouldn't flush without assistance from the front desk, and the breakfast was disappointing. We were at the end of a 2 week visit to Italy, staying primarily at 2 star hotels, and this was a real step down. ... I would recommend against staying there.
