We arrived just as they were getting the room ready...we left our bags and returned in an hr. They were extremely helpful in providing map and best walks and sights.

Excellent location to cafes, restaraunts , Vatican, etc. They also told us about the excellent wknd brunch at FABRICA, right around the corner from the B&B... it was wonderful, also the large outdoor market a block away was a great way to stock up on fresh fruit and wine...we also picked up a large bunch of beautiful white flowers which we left on the kitchen table for Francesca...

We took advantage of their offer for a drive to the airport, which eliminated the stress of connecting subway to train at the main train station

You could mention the enormous daily market which is only a block away on Via Doria

We forgot to let Francesca B&B know what time our flight was arriving so they didn't know when to expect us. They left a ph. no. on the door and once we'd rung, we only had to wait 15mins for the owner to come and check us in.

We were expecting to get breakfast as the property is called 'Bed & Breakfast'. This wasn't the case but the price was less than quoted so this was not an issue. No soap was provided in the showers.

Francesca B&B kindly let us keep a key and leave our baggage until the evening after we'd checked out.

I was pleased that we rented the entire apartment - it may be a bit cramped if you didn't know the people in the other room as the shared kitchen area is quite small. There are lots of good restaurants which are very close and it is certainly easy walking distance to the Vatican and that area of Rome.

Amazing location, quite small space but adequate. Could get very stuffy in summer.

It is ideal for a family of 4 or 5 needing both rooms.
I think for two groups that did not know one another it would be too small and confining.

The appartment was in a great area. The only complaint we had was the kitchen lounge area could have been cleaner and neater. Thank you for your follow up Jennifer McIntyre

There is no reception at the B&B; it is basically an apartment-kind of arrangement with two rooms that people stay in. We had problems with our bags not arriving with us and couldn't reach the gentleman who was managing the place in the owner's absence. He also did not speak very good English so it was difficult communicating with him. He was polite but not very helpful because he was not accessible most of the time. It didn't help that we couldn't call him on his cell with the phone in the B&B.

No reception - this must be stated clearly in the description. Definitely affected our stay.

The breakfast was not great.
Francesca B&B is a good place to stay if you want to be free and independent. You don't have any personal service as there is not reception, but it is fine if you only want a room to sleep (quite spacious).
It has a good location as you are near of Vatican, an underground station and many buses.

We only have to leave our keys in the romm when we left the B&B.
