I would recommend this hotel to any friend going to Rome. The accomodations were excellent and better than expected.

staff made the check in at the hotel as quick as possible. staff extremely professional. all staff spoke very good english.

rooms really quiet, did not hear our neighbours at all. quality of rooms very good. clean towels and sheets everyday.

again staff made this as quick as possible and phoned for taxi to the airport for us. good value for money, expecting a basic breakfast but there was hot food on offer and a good choice of breakfast. restaurant staff very helpful and friendly especially barbara.

there was no ramp up to the doors of the hotel leaving it difficult if you have a pushchair or wheelchair. otherwise i could not fault it.

fantastic modern hotel, very helpful friendly professional staff, very clean in a good area. we went to rome to celebrate my wife's 40th birthday with two small children and when we arrived in our room we received a bottle of champagne and lovely bowl of fruit from the hotel.after weeks and weeks of trying to find the right hotel in the right area i could certainly recommend this hotel.

I would certainly play up the location and convenience to the Forum, Palantine Hill and the Colosseum.

Great hotel in a very good location next to the Forum making sights very walkable. Nice touches to their amenities such as slippers and a bathroom scale. I especially liked the electric blinds! Excellent accommodations at a very good price (for Rome).

This hotel is very nice and everyone there was extremely pleasent and helpful. They even let us check in early so we could take a nap before hitting the sights.
Abosolutely NO complaints--wonderful and plan to stay there again and will recommend to anyone going to Rome.

You may want to add that the hotel sits only a block from the River which has a nice sidewalk all the way across the city. We walked all the way to the Vatican along it. It is also just a couple of blocks from the V. Emanneul Monument which many people like.

It is a very modern hotel that is extremely clean, with large rooms and nice bathrooms. The facility has a nice courtyard and a nice roof top terrace. The breakfast has many choices including some 'American' favorites such as eggs and bacon along with the typical european choices. The staff is abolutely wonderful and extremely helpful.

The only reason I do not rate room quality as 'Very Good' is lack of privacy: one could (too) easily hear what was going on in other rooms. Noise from the steet was however imperciptible (great!).
One negative comment about breakfast. the service was far from expedite, though polite. It seemed a bit disorganised. Items had to be finished (or nearly so) before being replaced. One final detail: the use of high heels by the ladies serving breakfast renders the room unecessarily noisy, due to the wooden floor that resonates.

2. I do not recall any indication about smoking and non smoking rooms; ours was non smoking, which was excellent; I believe this information may be of some value

Excellently situated, spacy, clean and very confortable rooms, gentle staff. I would choose it for my next stay in Rome.

Only criticsm is noise. Sound from next door room and from room upstairs through floor was too loud.

A modern, refurbished hotel very close to the historic centre of Rome. Very nicely furnished rooms. Good breakfast. The major shortcoming is noise transfer from room to room.

Great hotel with fantastic staff & good size clean modern rooms/bathrooms. Breakfast is simple but adequate.Excellent location in a quiet neighbourhood well within walking distance of the main sites(Collosseum,Old Roman Ruins etc)Bus stop outside the hotel takes you straight to the Vatican City. A leisurely stroll over the brigde and you have Trestevere where you have many resturaunts to choose from for an evening meal. We stayed 3 nights in June and I would definately stay here again.

The room we had faced the busy street. Very noisy at 5:00 am. Soundproof glass would help those street facing rooms.

The weather was rainy and we used the public bus many times. It was very convienent to have the bus stop right outside the hotel entrance.

Excepts for the room on the fisrt floor next to the very busy road the hotel itself is very nice.

People should ask for rooms higher up, because it is not very clear on the website that the hotel is next to a very busy road and the traffic noise is overwhelming if you try to open a window.

Wir haben unsere Zeit im 47 sehr genossen. Die Zimmer sind wirklich modern und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Das Frühstück war gut und reichlich. Einzig die Bar hat uns etwas entäuscht. Einen Cocktail im Wiskyglas serviert war nicht nach unserem Geschmack. Auch hätten wir uns gewünscht das wenigstens in einem Bereich das Rauchen gestattet wäre. Angenehm war das der Bus gleich vor dem Hotel hält und man so wirklich alles direkt erreichen kann.
Wenn wir mal wieder in Rom sind, sicher wieder im 47!

We arrived in Rome very late but the person who was waiting was very wake and welcomed us with smile. On the way to the hotel, he was a very good tour guide. It was a very good start visiting Rome for the very first time.
