We've traveled the world and stayed in four and five star hotels. I think this one was the most pleasant hotel experience I've ever had!

I requested a Double Room but we received a twin room. The receptionist was quite abrupt and almost rude in telling us we had to take what we got for the first night and they would make up the room as a double for the subsequent nights, which they did. I did not appreciate his manner. He did not wish us a pleasant stay or make us feel in any way welcome.

The rooms were pleasant and clean. The breakfast was excellent. We left straight after breakfast each day and didn't return until late at night.
I thought the reception area was dark and impersonal looking.

We had not used any additional facilities so check out was very straight forward. We were not asked if we enjoyed our stay or if we would return again.

That there is no ironing facilities available

Nice basic clean hotel, impersonal but good location for tourists and ideal for attending Irish wedding as 2 Irish pubs nearby!

Mould on wall of bedroom, plus water damaged floor panels outside bathroom.
Very helpful and informative staff.

The hotel was excellent. The only difficulty we encountered was that the taxi driver charged us 30 Euros from the Rome Termini. The actual charge should have been about 9 or 10 Euros. You might want to warn visitors that they should not expect to pay more than 10 Euros for the trip.

The hotel does not provide an internet site which would be useful, but did send us to a place about 2 blocks away which proved to be excellent - inexpensive, with a very helpful staff.

I would not hesitate to recommend the hotel to anyone going to Rome. It is a bit of a walk to the major tourist areas, but it can be done - or a taxi can take you to the old city sites such as the Vatican for about 6 Euros.

Obliging and courteous staff who were able to converse in English as, sadly, our Italian is rather poor.

A good location only a short walk from all the key tourist sites. Good restaurants nearby. Room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Valeting service very good. Pleasant reception area that benefits a bar.

Our room was very spacious and nice. My husband switched to a single and stayed longer than I did. He was given a very small room on the street side which was noisy. I had specified a room not on the street but perhaps it was not understood for his room. I tried to have him take my sister's room when we left but they said it wasn't possible.

A clean, budget style hotel with some good spacious rooms, but equally some smaller ones.

Never any hot water in the morning. One of the reception staff was extremely rude and not at all accomodating. Breakfast was poor with the coffee machine constantly breaking down!
Room was smaller than expected although it was very quiet and otherwise comfortable.

Not a bad place to stay for the money. Little bit too far from the main areas of interest which was irritating. Nevertheless the area surrounding the hotel had some good friendly restaurants and were good value for money with good service.

Not much happening in the vicinity of the hotel at night.

Very clean, competitively priced for Rome, which is an expensive city. 20 mins walk from city centre. Not much in the way of nightlife in this area.

Did not see much of the hotel as arrived Saturday @11.30 and departed at 07.15 Sunday and in between went to a rugby match

Stayed in Hotel Fiume 10 years ago. Enjoyed our stay then and equally so this time.

Friendly, nice. You feel at Fiume like at home. In a big ciry, Fiume is a point of rest. We will visit it again. Thanks for all.
