From the airport to the train station:
- Roma Fiumicino Airport-Leonardo da Vinci FCO take the Direct train to Roma Termini leaving every 30 minutes.
- Roma Ciampino Airport CIA is the closest airport to town, but, having less flights landing there, it has no train connection to the center of Rome. The least exensive option to reach us is a bit complicated and long, but quiet cheap. You have to take the Airport Shuttle (about every 40 minutes) to Anagnina, the first stop of the underground Metro line A. Get off at the Termini Stop and then take a bus line 38 or 86, 92,2 17 to Piazza Fiume.
Public transport system: the 75-minutes ticket is valid on busses, trams, underground, can be bought at tobacco shops, newspaper kiosk, bars, and have to be valited at the machine on board. Daily tickets use the same procedure (on sale only at the Transport System Booths, Roma Termini and all the Underground Stops).There is also a weekly ticket available.
Coming by train: the main railway station is Termini, once there get the bus number 38, 86, 92 and 217 to Piazza Fiume.
Coming by car: Hotel Fiume is easily reachable from the Grande Raccordo Anulare ring-road (G R A), connected to all the main highways. From the G R A exit at SALARIA direction "Centro". Proceed along via Salaria to Piazza Fiume, cross the square, turn on the left under the big old wall, again turn on the left, then turn on the righ on Via Bergamo.
