When we arrived, we were given a map and directions to attractions that we wanted to see in Rome. We also received restaurant advice, and directions to a specific location we wanted to visit. ... This property is in the heart of Rome, walking distance to practically everything! I was pleasantly surprised with the accommodations given the price and location. ... The Fellini helped us make arrangements to hold our bags on the last day, as well as provided us a cab ride with fixed fare to the airport. ... My only recommendations for this hotel are to add internet access and upgrade tv's. I believe the website does not note no internet access. ... I would highly recommend the Fellini to any friends or family planning to visit Rome! Wonderful location, affordable, comfortable, friendly and accommodating staff.

A great central location from which to see all of Rome. While rooms are small, the beds were comfortable and clean. I had read other readers comments about the noise from the tunnel and didn't quite understand until I was there. I suppose depending on where your bedroom window faces, you may hear the noise of the traffic coming through the nearby traffice tunnel as we did. But honestly, having stayed there 4 nights, I was only aware of the noise of the traffic one night and it wasn't the tunnel noise that woke me up in the first place. Breakfast service offered good variety. Overall a great location and one I would not only recommend, but stay at again if I ever get the opportunity.

Great place ... Would recommend allowing guests to prepare coffee/tea independently after breakfast hours or at least place a small kettle with two plastic cups, a teabag and some sugar. Just that extra touch. ... The owner is a delight, the location is not great, its superb. The staff are wonderful. ... A definite recommendation.

The room was very, very noisy. We could hear everyone coming and going, so well that we could hear their exact conversations. We were also awakened by the ladies setting out the continental breakfast.
The air conditioning in the room was barely adequate even when set at the coolest temperature available. Additionally, the maid kept turning off the air conditioning in our room, making it unbearable upon our return.
The B&B was located in a very convienent location, we couldn't have asked for a better location. The rooms and the premises were sparkling clean. ... Noisy and hot, with a mediocre breakfast, but very clean and well located.

The Fellini Hotel was one of the best experiences, the welcome and care of the staff, the locations and the hotel feel itself were remarkable. I am encouraging my friends to stay there with any trips to Roma! Thanks to Claudia and the breakfast staff for their hospitality. ... Really romantic, pretty rooms. ... We didn't expect such a concise run-thru of the city and the hotel from Claudia. It was really a welcoming feature. ... 5 star hotel with a 3 star price.

We were pleasantly surprised by how clean and modern our room was. The staff helped us with our bags and was extremely accomodating at check-in. They were more than willing to offer us directions and reccommendations on restaurants. ... Our room was small, but how much time are you going to spend in your room while you are in Rome? The location is beyond perfect. We stayed in Rome for five days and saw the whole city by foot. You are literally steps away from the Trevi Fountain. At the end of the day it was so nice to come back to our clean, air conditioned room and comfy bed. We couldn't have been happier. ... The receptionist at check out was a different man than we had been in contact with the rest of our stay. He seemed a little lost. We asked for a wake up call and we finally got it...but almost an hour late. Bring your own alarm clock! ... No ... In addition to the above I would say that the upstairs terrace is a highlight. You can sit on the rooftop with a bottle of wine or a cappucino in the morning...it's like an oasis in a city full of chaos. The breakfast in the morning is really delicious and the girl working was very pleasant and made a delicious caffe latte.

after a long flight and it being our first time in italy it was not that difficult finding the place. the directions from the termani station were perfect. ... i will not stay anywhere else my next trip to rome. i absolutely loved it! ... i did not want to leave fellini but the check-out process was easy and brief. ... one detail those interested should be aware of is the location--this really is the best location in town. a very short walk to the trevi fountain, spanish steps, pantheon, campo de fiori, many bus stops and the underground stop, i could go on. fellini is an absolute gem and would challenge anyone to find a better value for location and quality of stay in all of rome. ... i would tell them stories about the breakfasts outside on the terrace, chatting with others about the days' plan. i would tell them how it was literally a 5 minute walk to see the most famous fountain in all of the world, and just another ten minutes or so to see the pantheon. this city is the most beautiful city in the world and fellini bed and breakfast is located right in the middle of it all.

After a long stessful flight the reception at Fellini was welcoming and very friendly. The staff were brilliant and tried very hard to make us welcome. They were fantastic. ... It was a haven in a busy city. The rooms were always cleaned well, the staff were knowledgeable and enthusiastic about our visit and keen to assist with sightseeing tips. ... Staff called a taxi for us when requested and organized all the details. ... We absolutely loved being able to sit upstairs on the roof patio. Maybe you could emphasize the fact that you can use it at any time of the day. It was a lovely spot to unwind and relax. ... We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and came back for our last two days in Rome because we had enjoyed our first stay. The staff were fantastic and extremely helpful. As we were checking out very early in the morning there was nobody at reception. This was not a problem and i have only great things to say about Fellini. ... No i can't think of anything that is not covered on web-site. I would definitely sell the cleanliness of the facilities as this is a major factor for me. ... No telephones to desk or outside. One flight of stairs to the lift. ... Fellini is perfectly located to explore Rome by foot, and it is immaculate, charming and the staff is friendly and helpful. Staff might be better informed about major sites (or have info on hand), i.e. on their recommendation we walked all the way to Borghese Museum to find it closed. Otherwise staff went out their way to make our stay comforable, made dinner reservations and taxi arrangements for our early departure, etc.. Breakfast on the little balcony is pleasant, although our cappucino's were 99% milk both mornings.

The receptionist was more than helpful, explaining our location on a map and highlighting how long it would take to walk to various sights aswell as bus numbers to get to ones further away. She escorted us to our room and explained the features in the room. Also told us we could store luggage when we check out. ... The room was newly renovated. Fabulous shower. Nice clean bright bathroom. Air conditioning was excellent. Furniture, bedding, cleanliness of bedroom all exceptional BUT both bedroom and bathroom were tiny! Enough space for a short stop and for active sight see-ers though. Breakfast buffet was excellent - lovely fresh bread and pastries served at roof top location. ... A fabulous clean and friendly hotel with good breakfast. Close to Trevi fountain. As long as you don't mind being in a small bedroom it is perfect.

The staff called for our cab to the airport. With no in room phones, its a benefit to have staff willing to help. ... Not having an in room phone may be worth mentioning. I don't remember if your site did or not. ... A very friendly, clean and nicely appointed room. Albeit small, it's location is central to enjoying Rome and Vatican City by foot or public transport. Jean Pierre was very kind and managed to upgrade the room for us, once agreeing the additional costs. We were very happy with how we were treated and could not have asked for more. ... This was the first time I've used a B&B abroad and for me the cleanliness of where I stay is more important than anything else - it was more than I hoped for, better than some of the 4* hotels I've stayed in! The images and description were spot on and all the staff went out of their way to be helpful and make our stay one we will remember with pleasure. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Fellini to anyone. ... We didn't fly out until late evening and Claudia arranged for us to leave our bags at Felini until we left for the airport, so we could enjoy our last day without the luggage. They also arranged for tranfers for us both from and back to the airport, which again could not be faulted. ... Fellini's is situated in a brilliant location. No need for public transport once your there as everywhere you would want to visit is well within walking distance. There is a great restaurant - Thats Amore, across the road and a very welcoming pup, The Albert just around the corner. If you have not been to Rome or indeed Italy before, the graffiti everywhere can be a bit off putting - but its just part if Italian life - doesn't mean its a bad area! ... A little haven in the middle of a mad city! Especially as we moved in to the apartment for the last 3 days - it was wonderful to have a huge roof terrace to sit out on and chill. I would tell them if they are going to Rome, stay at Fellini - I will if I get to go back.

Receptionist Jovanna was very kind and provided us with necessary information. We felt very welcome. ... Good location, room was small, compared to US standard for the price, but I was not expecting otherwise, based on reviews I've read. Bed was comfortable, breakfast could have been with more variety, noise level was little high due to its location near the tunnel. But the people made up for it all. ... As I have indicated, space was small compared to what the price would provide in other non Euro countries, but I was expecting all that we recieved. I think the location dictated the price, most Americans would not be pleased for the price charged. ... None ... Small but well situated, but don't expect room size compared to US standard'our money doesn't buy much in Europe. Best part of this little B&B is the people who served us well, especially the lady who served us our continental breakfast daily to our room and Jovvana the receptionist.

The Reception staff are very helpful and will provide detailed maps to show you the best way around. The rooms are all on the 3rd floor of a seperate building which seems a little strange at first as you are seperated from the reception, but it works. The room is small but very clean and comfortable. Having trawled through prices for various accommodation in Rome, this was good value for money and very reasonable. The location couldn't have been better, you are 5 minutes from the Trevi fountain and the Termini. You can walk to absolutly anywhere, including the Vatican, within half an hour. (And there is a little English style pub on the doorstep!) The breakfast is simple but very pleasant and the staff are friendly. A lot of Italians know very little English so I would advise learning a few phrases so that you can communicate. I would definitly recommend the Fellini.

It's probably just us not being careful enough, but the street the Inn is on is not labeled very well, so we passed it about 3 times! They let us have the apartment for the entire stay at no extra charge! Breakfast was served to us in our room - we were asked the time and drink preference and they brough it up to us. The receptionist gave us some excellent suggestions for walking / sightseeing and eating out. ... I have rated this as 'fair value for money' based on the rates I might expect to pay for similar accomodation in England. However this may be a little harsh by Rome standards as I understand the prices can be a little high. Based on location in Rome I suppose 'good value for money' may be more suitable. ... a good welcome - we were not happy with our first room as we thought it too small for 5 nights but they changed it for us with no problem ... we were on the 3rd floor so didn't have access to the roof terrace during the day which was a problem because we smoke and we didn't want to smoke in the room and anyway the rooms are non smoking . The room was a bit small but the location was excellent - better than we thought it would be ... we paid on arrival so check out didn't really happen - we just vacated our room and left our bags for later ... excellent location, lovely building, walking distance to most places and only a few minutes walk from the metro for the others. rooms are nice and clean with nice bathrooms but a bit on the small side - the lack of space is made up for by the location!

The breakfast was better than I expected and very filling. There was a decent variety to choose from and even I was able to find things that I enjoyed. The only possible negative was that the breakfast options were the same every day, but for me that was a positive since it guaranteed predictability in at least one meal a day!
