The train arrived late and Franceska had to go elsewhere. She left a note on the door and the cleaner let us in. ... There were problems with cleanliness in the public areas of the apartment block in which Eterna Roma is situated and the lift to the residence. Breakfast was self service (a good point) but the cereal supplies were not adequately topped up(no fruit or yogurts supplied as in other similar places we stayed) The atmosphere was pleasant and we were very comfortable overnight. The central location was excellent. ... An excellent point is that Franceska's father looked after our baggage for a whole day, free of charge, at his Tabacchi nearby and very near the station (this saved us a lot of money compared with our experience at Milan Railway Station) ... Not on the website that the residenza is not always staffed. ... Very near the station, new and clean, a friendly host.

We arrived on time but the owner was not there to let us in. Apparently she was caught in traffic. It was upsetting because no-one at the building spoke English. After waiting about 30 minutes, with two large suitcases, and not knowing what to do the owner arrived to let us in. ... The establishment is very clean, but the area the building is in is very dirty. Garbage dumpsters line the streets and litter is everywhere.

Owner, Francesca, was extremely helpful, as she actually came to the station to more or less lead us to the hotel. ... Our only criticism was that the 'hotel' was not really a conventional hotel, but more of a self-service B & B without a regular reception person or reception hours, which made it difficult for anyone to contact us while in Rome. We would have had a lot of trouble finding it on our own, as the building was not clearly marked as a hotel. ... No one on reception for check-out, so bill needs to be settled beforehand. ... See my comments above. It should be made clear that there is no phone number available for guests, nor is the reception desk manned for any regular hours. The owner is there for check-in of guests only, so this is rather haphazard. Nor is building clearly marked as a hotel - this needs to be rectified. ... Friendly owner, convenient location close to Termini, quite good value for Rome.

The room was less spacious that I think.
The price expensive for the room and breakfast.
I stayed in Absolute Bed and Breakfast the 18th of September and the room was better, clean, spacious and for the same price. The staff was very nice call Alexis in Absolute bed and breakfast, he explained us the most important things to see in Rome.
In Eterna Roma we only see the boss, Francesca, the first day to pay and she didnīt give us any information about the city.
It was o.k but expensive for the room. ...
The best that it is very good place to see Rome, it is in the center of the city, good area.

We paid on arrival. There was nobody at check out time. We thought it was ok to leave the key inside the room and then we left. Maybe more directions about check out would be necessary. ... Really clean and quiet place. Close to everything.
