We arrived earlier than expected and although our room wasn't available they made us very comfortable and let us have a shower and somewhere to change.

We stayed there for 5 nights at the beginning of our trip, and then on our last night. We were made to feel like returning family. It was lovely, especially for my 6 year old son.

Really helpful and friendly staff, a lot of whom speak English. The piazza outside the hotel, even though its pictured, maybe should be emphasised more - its a wonderful place to sit. Also the fact that its less than a ten minute walk from Termini station.

Friendly,great location, reasonable prices, great coffee at breakfast and the best croissants we had in Italy.

We arrived by taxi to the hotel and we not ever being in Italy before, gave the address to our cab driver and he found it no problem.

The staff warned us to be careful about gypsies in town, but that Rome was a safe city. However, I do believe he should warn guests when using the Metro to be very careful of pick-pocketers, as we were almost a victim.
They replaced a light bulb we reported was out and got us extra pillows per our request.

Be sure to allow at least an hour to get to the airport in the morning. The hotel staff called a taxi for us, rather than us walking to the taxi stand.

Good location to walk to all sites in ancient city and many restaurants.
Room was very large, quiet and private.

It took us a while to locate the hotel. Your description should state that the hotel is on the second floor, across from the Piazza.
We were given a map with the key attractions high lighted - this was helpful.

Yes - however, the fridge was broken and could not be used. The 3rd bed provided was of very poor quality and uncomfortable. The water from the shower leaked thro' the bathroom to the room and wetted the carpet in the room - so we always had a wet spot that we had to jump over in the room. It states that the hotel in newly renovated, but I think it should be more specific. Only part of the hotel is newly renovated (we were not in that part of the hotel). However, the room was spacious.

I would not rate this as a 3-star (at least not the part that has not been renovated)
