Everything was as promised on your web site except the photograph of the outside did not do it justice. ... Service was excellent with everybody being polite and helpful. ... Very smooth and painless check out with no fuss at all. ... Would highly recommend staying here,my wife and I will use it again on our next visit. With its architecture and sense of history it was far more than just another hotel.

A very quiet hotel and enjoyable to use as a break from the hustle and bustle of the city. ... I would recommend it as a quiet hotel with good facilities. the bedroom was good. The bathroom was well equipped and the breakfasts were excellent.

In a quiet part of the city (for Rome) but within 5 minutes of the metro and a 10 minute walk to the colosseum. The hotel was very clean and well presented. Not a huge choice of places to eat in the locality but enough for a few days and good quality/value. Felt safe as a family walking in the area during day or night. Would return!

I loved this property! I had less than 24 hours to stay in Rome, on busines, and I could not have asked for a better representation of Rome than staying within an atmostpheric, ancient basicila!

I arrived at 9:30pm. Staff spoke perfect English and were extremely friendly. Good staff might be hard to find, but Domus Sessoriana found it ^_^ ... Domus Sessoriana was an absolute bargain. The history attached to the Basilica next door is immense, and Basilica di San Giovanni in Laterano (the former papal residence) is only a few hundred metres away. The accomodation was spacious and very clean, and the bathroom was much better than I had hoped for. I would absolutely recommend Domus Sessoriana to anyone. ... Emphasise the history of the Santa Croce in Gerusalemme and the relics which are housed there ... The best value and most interesting hotel I have ever stayed in. It was a truly unique experience which no other place can offer

the staff at the desk were helpful, polite and courteous at every interaction, calling taxis for us was never a problem.
a truly wonderful experience was had by all on this my 5th and best visit to rome, the staff really made this stay great.
the one thing that was disappointing was breakfast which really was very poor, they might like to have breakfast at the ibis to get a good understanding of what a continenetal breakfast really can be. ... a beutiful experience close to everything in roma and set in a beutiful setting on both sides of an ancient cathedral

My family especially enjoyed the fact that there was a church connected to the accomodation, so we could attend mass in the mornings. ... It was not clearly stated just how easy it was to get into central Rome and to the train station from Domus Sessoriana. ... A moving experience. Perfect escape from the exciting adventures that Rome offers by day.

A beautiful old monastery attached to a famous church. The rooms were beautiful and spacious. There was a lovely roof terrace which could only have been improved by more seating and possibly the opportunity to purchase drinks (not necessarily alcoholic as this may have been related to the Church)also a lounge with drinks or the opportunity for making drinks within rooms. Apart from a mini bar in the room a kettle and coffee etc would have been good. I would have liked to be able to walk round the garden which was an old amphitheatre. I know there was work being done at the hotel and maybe some of these things are in hand. But, it was a lovely place to stay and I would consider staying there again, although there is cheaper accommodation of a good standard available in Rome.

For such an exquiste building, more could be done as far as decore is concerned (in the rooms). The furnishing is simple (as it should be, due to the period of the construction) but, the painting job and colors are terrible, both in style and quality, giving an overall cheap look to a room which could be superb.
