The Domus Sessoriana is laid out in one wing of the Monastery of the Basilica of Santa Croce in Gerusalemme on the slopes of the Esquiline Hill in central Rome, a short distance from the Colosseum and the Basilica of San Giovanni in Laterano. The Basilica is built on the site of one of the Imperial palaces, flanked by the Aurelian city Walls, the remains of the Circo Variano and the Anfiteatro Castrense. The Emperor Constantine and his mother Helena inaugurated the first openly Christian church here.

The Domus Sessoriana revives the old tradition of hospitality extended by the monks of Santa Croce. Business and professional men, scholars and savants, present day pilgrims and discerning tourists can be accommodated in buildings of historical and architectural interest, with impeccable service in a world famous setting. The Basilica, in fact, houses the relics of Christ's Passion, discovered by the Empress Helena on Mount Calvary, as well as works of art of inestimable value. There are Roman archaeological treasures, ancient volumes, medieval frescoes and a richly inlaid pavement of the 12th century.

The Domus' 60 rooms are placed in two different wings of the building: the "Conventual Wing" and the "Palazzina Wing". Minibar, safebox, satellite TV, air conditioning, cold buffet breakfast, meeting & conference rooms and internet point are only samples of the amenities we foresee in order to make your staying in the Eternal City the most attractive and unforgettable you have ever spent.
