I was very pleased with Hotel Domus Aurea. It was very clean and staff were friendly & helpful. Walking distance to Rome Ternini and (at a pinch) most of the attractions of Rome.

Very efficient. Always check taxi price transfer to airport.

Guests would be advised to check out the Santa Maria Delgi Angeli which is very close to the hotel off the Plazza Republica. It is a gem and a fantastic introduction to Rome.

The double room single occupancy was very very small and there was no table etc to put the laptop. One could not work in the room.
There were only very expensive WIFI services, far too expensive to be used. There is sometimes a smell of 'sewer' in the Hotel.

The 'no' above is provisional! The room was fine and the reception staff were fine. However, for the money charged, and in comparison with other hotels of the same rating, we would have expected other than plastic cutlery at breakfast - and, in Italy of all places, coffee from a machine! The breakfast arrangements were pretty shambolic with queues for tables, insufficient glasses for fruit juice (despite polite requests) and the staff there unsmiling. Other than this, as stated, everything was fine.

Very handy for the station/airport. Very clean and fresh rooms. Pity about the breakfast arrangmeents!

We were unfortunate not to be able to have breakfast on the roof beause of the working. Of course it was'nt your fault.
One thing : I think when you have Eurosport and CNN on the tv you would make a lot of perople happy, including ourselves.

we would recommend your hotel espacially because of it's position nearby the termini.
So easy to visit Rome.

We both had a very nice stay in the Domus Aurea. It was very clean and comfortable and the breakfast was extensive and catered for every taste. The staff were friendly and we would recommend the hotel to our friends and indeed would like to return ourselves some time.

It would be useful to have public transport tickets in the hotel itself from the Reception. In general though, the hotel was very good.

Some of the rooms are quite small for 2 male adults (with the bathrooms in particular very small), but we survived.

The rooms seemed bigger on the images than in real life. Some kind of shelf should be put up in the bathroom; toothbrushes, soap, razors and so on had to be put on the edge of the wash-basin. I would also appreciate a receptable for waste paper tissues, old razor blades and the like in the bathroom.
