By Plane
The city of Rome is served by two airports, Fiumicino and Ciampino, welcoming flights from all over the world. They are placed in the outskirts of the Eternal City, Fiumicino at 30 kilometres from the property, and Ciampino, 35 km. Both terminals present an easy access on public transport to downtown Rome.
By Car
If you land at Fiumicino, it will take you around 30 minutes to reach the hotel by car. Get on the A91 highway and then the A90, get off at the exit 1 "Roma/ Aurelio/ SS1" and continue along SS1. Turn right at Via Aurelia driving in the direction "Roma/ Aurelio/ Cittá del Vaticano/ Stazione/ Aurelia" and then take your right at Largo Tomasso Perassi. Drive on to Via Aurelia Antica and turn right into Via di Torre Rosa, which will lead you into Rome. Afterwards, take your left at Via Gregorio VII; continue along Via Anastasio II and Via Cipro. You will soon be driving along Circonvallazione Trionfale and Circonvallazione Clodia. Turn right in Via Nazario Sauro and again in Via Premuda. You will find the apartment on number 4, before reaching Trionfale.
From Ciampino, the itinerary is pretty similar. As you leave the terminal, take the SS7DIR motorway, Via di Ciampino and SS7 before turning right into A90. Next just follow the indications already described. In this case the journey also takes around half an hour.
By Train
It is pretty simple to reach the apartment from any of the airports. At Fiumicino, take the train to Termini central station and there get on the metro (line A, direction Battistini). Get off at Ottaviano-San Pietro and walk the 800 metres to the apartment, first along Via Leone IV and Via della Giuliana. At the end of this track, you will come to Via Premuda, where you must turn left. If you land at Ciampino, there are buses to Anagnina metro station, where you can also get on the metro or shuttle buses to Termini station, and follow the same directions. |
