Mario was fantastic ... he arranged for a car to pick us up from the airport and we were at the apartment within an hour of landing - I would highly recommend this to anyone rather than waiting for the buses - there were long queues. ... The apartment was great, full equipped, all clean. It was very close to the Trevi Fountain and very safe to walk around late at night, there were a couple of pizza cafes/bars opposite - which we didn't try but which looked lovely. All in all we had a lovely stay and would recommend the apartment to anyone. ... Mario let us keep the apartment until later than check out - as we had a late flight and no-one had booked for the next day which was really appreciated. ... None ... Fantastic apartment, very suitable for a group and great value for money. The location was very central, 2 mins to the Trevi Fountain, 30 mins stroll to The Vatican, 10 mins to the Spanish Steps. I travelled with my mum and Aunt and we all thought the apartment was great and Mario was very helpful.

We arrived early and the apartment was aready to go and very clean! ... Our stay in Rome at this apartment was wonderfull. We found the apartment to be exactly as stated in the online discription. We were very pleased with Mario Ceravolo who greated us upon our arrival. He was professional, personable and helpfull with all of the questions we had with the apartment. ... We paid the night before we left and everything was just as we agreed on. ... The only thing I can think of is that they may want to install a shower curtain in the larger bathroom with the bath. The other shower is very small especally if you are a larger gentlemen. ... I would highly recomend this apartment to everyone. It was in a great location, clean and comfortable. I would stay there again on my next vist to Rome!

We arraived at the aprtament to be told that the person meeting us wouldn't be there for another two hours - luckily there was a cafe opposite where we waited. Not a problem for us as we have been to Rome several times and know our way around. This delay could not be helped (due to illness)and these things happen, however, I would say that it may well have annoyed other people ... Fab apartment! Fab location! Fantastic! minutes away from everything yet it felt like a calm oasis - so much so that we really didn't want to leave! Everything was perfect! Just one very small word, a kettle would really help! ... If you visit Rome with friends and or family you just have to stay here....you will never want to go home I can assure you!

I found the accommodation extremely central. Luca was most hospitable, helpful both in our needs accommodation wise and tourist wise. He explained the transport system, the places of interest and how to best utilise our time for sight seeing and shopping.
I would love to visit Rome again and if I did would stay in Luca's apartment again. I have already been recommending this accommodation to my friends and colleagues.
... I found the maps extremely helpful on your site as I had never been to Rome before and it allowed me to best judge just where the accommodation and the main sights were including Station Termini.
Many thanks for all you help to making our holiday extremely enjoyable and successful.
You have a most beautiful city.
Yours sincerely,

Our arrival was very nice; the property manager Luca was very friendly and gave us a warm welcome in the morning with coffee! ... A very nice place to stay in Rome; any time I would spend days in Rome with a group of friends, I´d prefer to stay at the La Dolce Vita at The Trevi Fountain!

Didn't use the directions, they arranged a taxi from the airport to meet us. This was greatly appreciated as we arrived at 7.00pm ... the owner of the flat provided information about a near by supermarket, places to eat and how to get around. They even looked up the train timetable for us to Naples. ... It was great having the extra space of a flat near the Spanish Steps and the Trevi Fountain. Right in the heart of Rome. Only items missing was internet access and laundry facilities.
It was a great place to stay. ... Great position, felt a part of Rome - living in a Roman Appartment

As we were five people travelling, we found the accommodation satisfactory. Just a few things to note, the apartment was comfortable enough although it only had one lounge, therfore not enough sitting for all of us to relax after a busy day sightseeing in Rome. The bathrooms were not really up to the standard we are used to in Australia. Also for Australians travelling a couple of everyday comforts could be included, we don't all drink coffee so therefor a kettle would be handy in order to make a cup of tea, also a toaster as we are all big toast eaters for breakfast. Mario the gentleman who greeted us was great and made us feel very welcome. The position of the apartment is very good close to all of Rome's tourist. We had a great time in Rome and enjoyed the apartment. Just thought you might take our suggestions on board for other tenants to enjoy. Regards Tricia & Mick O'Farrell PS we had great difficulty in finding the apartment it took us 2hours very frustrating. ... Answered this in arrival section ... Needs extra lounge to accommodate more than three people.Shower in second bathroom very very small.Need curtian in main bathroom so water doesn't go everywhere. ... Great position, clean and comfortable. Kithcen very small and not too good equipped. No wine glasses, toaster or kettle, all need to be supplied for extra comfort.

This is a self catering apartment in a very central location near shops , restaurants and about 100m from the trevi fountain. Hotel accomadation of a similar standard in the same location would have been twice the price. We had two young children and a new baby so the apartment and location was ideal for our purposes.

The transfer to the apartment was very efficient making the arrival an easy matter ... This is the second time we have stayed at La Dolce Vita at the Trevi. The apartment is central to many of the tourist attractions and within walking distance, making our stay very easy and enjoyable. We have friends in Rome who came to visit us there and they were very impressed with the accommodation ... Checking out was easy and the transfer back to the airport arrived promptly so we had no worries about arriving at the airport on time ... A spacious, clean and well furnished apartment within easy reach of many of the tourist attractions of Rome.

The directions suggested using Bernini as the metro station to use and Spagna actually seems much closer (to the flat at the Spanish Steps). ... The location was wonderful, the flat was clean and roomy and comfortable. The only thing that was a problem was there was an iron, kettle, etc. with plugs that did not fit the outlets. However, the landlord did offer to look into this for us (but we told him not to worry about it). It would have been nice if there had been a shower curtain. ... Not really. The website was informative. Perhaps directions on how to get there from Cimpiano Airport (the directions are only for Da Vinci). ... Wonderful, perfect location, comfortable, friendly staff, perfect.

The staff could not have been more helpful. We were very impressed with the level of service and punctuality. ... The property could not be in a better location. We walked to everything. The only problem was that at night there was quite a bit of noise from the streets below. We accepted this as the price you pay for staying in the heart of the city. ... La Dolce Vita at the Trevi Fountain is a spacious apartment in the heart of Rome that offers all the comforts of home. The olny down side is that it is very noisy at night with all the activities on the streets below. Still, you have the same problem at the big hotels.

Mario (I believe one of the owners) met us and was extremely helpful in giving us directions to the places we wanted to visit as well as the local supermarket! Very polite. ... Rooms were very clean, spacious and private. However, were not particularly quiet as above a street with bars and restaurants so could not be expected. It's central position made up for this. One toilet was not working properly but owner was aware and in process of getting sorted I believe. ... As we were self catering we did not see Mario again after check in but did not need to. He did leave us a mobile number for any queries we might have. ... Might be worth mentioning that it is quite noisy in the evenings and that the lift up to the fourth floor is very tiny! ... A very large apartment in an ideal location for getting to all the major attractions on foot if preferred, although the subway is only a couple of minutes walk.
Was very close to bars & restaurants but bear in mind is quite noisy in the evening because of this!`

We arrived in two separate groups. The first group was allowed into the flat early and was shown all amenities of the flat. ... It was a comfortable apartment. Linens were clean and plentiful. The manager, Mario, was always available via telephone and very gracious. The location was awesome. I would suggest a few more pots and pans in better condition, and a can opener. ... Mario came over the night before we left, collected our payment It was simple and easy. ... A very large and comfortable flat, with all amenities available including a washing machine. Good sized bedrooms, two baths, smallish kitchen but workable. Grocery store and fresh food market around the corner. Three minute walk to the Trevi Fountain. Minutes to the underground and public transportation. A perfect place to stay.

We stayed at the spanish steps apartment which was very nice, the only problem was that the hot water heater was on two days not working and the others only getting the water slightly warm ... perfect location, right in the centre, can be a bit noisy, but that does not bother me. Very friendly, helpful and polite owner who lives upstairs, but they really should get a new water heater.

My flight arrived at Rome quite late at night, but the owner still make an effort to arrange for my late check-in, which I really appreciated a lot. ... Due to the location of the apartment is above a pub, which mean that there will be a bit noisy at night. But the pub is opened until 1 am only, so it doesn't really matter as I sleep later than that. ... A very convenient location where you can reach to most of the historical area by foot. Moreover, the famous shopping street is just beside the apartment.

It was unfortunate that the shower didn't work well - the shower in the shower room was broken - it wouldn't stay up to the desired height. Also the heating system was a bit strange - when you turned it up to full max, it would overheat and stop and therefore one night we couldn't have a shower. The pressure of the shower wasn't great either, and no other taps in the apartment could be used when someone was having a shower. Therefore everything was great apart from the shower facilities! ... Very nice, big, clean apartment in the middle of rome, seconds from the trevi fountain. Great pizza shop opposite the apartment building!

The property didn't have a receptionist (no reception). The person who was to meet us was running a few minutes late but overall we had no complaints about our arrival. We had e-mail contact prior to our arrival which was very helpful - a car was organised (at a cost) to collect us from the airport. This happened as it should and was very convenient. ... The accomodation was in a private residential building and therefore there were no staff on site. The lady who's contact details we had was very polite and helpful. The airconditioners in two of the rooms were faulty which was a bit of a problem due to the heat in Rome when we were there. ... Again, no staff therefore we just left the key in the room when we left - there was nothing to be organised. The accomodation was just as we thought it would be (except the airconditioning!). ... Great location, spacious apartment, value for money.

The person that let us in the apartment was a little late, so we waited outside the locked door until they came. No real checkout. We paid for the entire stay when let in and left the key in the apartment, per verbal instructions, when we left. ... We have to carry all our four heavy bags upstairs, by stairs! All by Ourselves! ... Weak point: bathroom. That's why they don't put photos on the website. Need general work on it. The shoer has no presure at all. Very difficult to wash long hair. ... It is an appartment, not a hotel or a flat. No services. Only clean towels and linen once a week. It's just a rental.
Again, carrying all bags downstairs, calling our taxi a hundred meters away... ... Photos of the bathroom and kitchen. A photo of the front door would help the identification of the place. ... Positives: a lot of space, in the very heart of Rome, clean towels and linen, very nice and friendly owners.
Negatives: no room service, bad bathroom, terrible shower.

No shower rail. Antequated hot water system. Helpful maps available. No English language TV stations available (e.g. CNN news) ... The property was not very clean (e.g. cobwebs in the bathroom) and there was a musty smell throughout. The property would certainly benefit from upgrading ... It was an inconvenience having to pay cash as we had to use currency instead of credit card and incurred costs from withdrawing cash from a cash machine ... It should be clear that the property is very basic in its facilities ... The location is good but, for the price, we expected a higher standard. I would not recommend the accommodation
