Luca & Marco made it the most wonderful time I could have ever had. My daughter had sent us on this trip and had expressed that she wanted it to be a once in a lifetime experience, it was. Thanks to all of the people we encountered in your magnifisent hotel. I can only hope to one day return.

Exceedingly convenient location ... truely the heart of Rome. Loved the bar at the end of the day. Everything was clean, well appointed and very quiet!

The WiFi service in the bar was a tad slow but very convenient for email and updating my blog etc..
The staff arranged for a pick-up and return to the airport ... inexpensive and totally stress-free!

We loved our stay at the Senato. We lived on the Piazza Navona for 6 months a few years ago so we had never stayed in a hotel in the area before. We found the hotel to be above our expectations in all ways, and we loved walking out the door and having the Pantheon at the doorstep. The area is our absolute favorite in all of Rome, and we'll return to the hotel anytime we are in Rome. The room was comfortable and quiet. Our room didn't face on the Pantheon so we had no real views, but we'd trade that any day for a quiet room, especially on a busy, bustling piazza. The staff was very professional and most helpful. They remembered our names every time we came in our went out.

We took a taxi from Ciampino airport as it was very late. But the receptionist knew exactly who we were when we entered the hotel and he said immediately 'ah Mr Bayliss I presume - welcome to Rome'. A very nice start for us!

The hotel appeared in super condition, both interior and exterior.
It was my wife's birthday and the hotel had upgraded us to room 204 which has the balcony overlooking the Pantheon. It was breathtaking. They also provided a bottle of champagne and a lovely card for her. I have stayed in many hotels and this was one of the best experiences we have had. Thank you to all.

You may publish this comment - 'The Albergo Del Senato is a lovely hotel in a fabulous location overlooking the Pantheon. The staff are very helpful, the rooms are lovely and quite simply you will not do any better than this hotel if you are staying in Rome'.

Fabulous location. The staff was charming and helpful, great restaurant suggestion and good directions to sites. The room was clean and comfortable. Very nice natural stone in bath with soaps and shampoos, hair dryer. Wonderful breakfast buffet with selections for everyone and nice coffee choices. Our room was on the Piazza and was quiet at night with the windows closed. We did open them some nights as the weather was warm but A/C not on yet. Some noise until midnight and then surprisingly silent. We LOVED being able to watch the activity on the piazza. Would definatly stay at this property again.

Great location. Beautiful property. If you want quiet at night request a room off the Piazza della Rotunda and know that if you do that you will miss out on the fabulous view that we had of the Pantheon esp. at night.

Breakfast room was understaffed. Tables were not cleared and food tables not refilled when we went to breakfast. Had to go into the kitchen and ask for coffee. This would be our only criticism of hotel.

Staff were very obliging. I had booked a car to collect at the airport and despite the flight being late...the chaffeur was still very pleasant. Staff throughout the stay were exemplary.

Theret were lots of small things that were very good. For example, umebrellas available for use when it was raining...and it rained alot.

The hotel organised a car to the airport at short notice....because no taxis available. I was very grateful

Perfect location...easily accessing all the major sites and areas of the city. Quality accomodation for which you pay the going rate. Not cheap, but worth it.

one small 'complaint'. Breakfast was very inconsistent. We appreciated that we came over a holiday period with stores closed, but nothing fresh. None-the-less, our stay and the staff were fabulous.
