Staff was great-we arrived very early due to flight time, and luggage was tagged, stored, and directions and suggestions to local attractions were made. ... Within walking distance of most city center tourist attractions. WE were very pleasantly surprised and will not doubt locate here again on our next trip to Rome. ... Comfortable, conveniently located and upscale accomodation.

Excellent receptionist, who provided very clear instructions and directions to various services by the hotel and where to get other services not provided by the hotel. The potter too was extremely nice. ... The room we were aocated was rather stuffy - the previous occupant must have been smoking in the room, although it was a no smoking room. No air freshener was available for use in the room, which made our first night very uncomfortable. ... No ... A must place to stay - close proximity to all the tourist sights and shoping area. Staff excellent.

We stayed with Hotel Mellini before and we are always very satisfied ... It's expensive but worth the money. Very quiet but close to city center, the vatican, the river. Excellent service, very friendly personnel.

I had stayed at this hotel before (booked through a travel agent) so I knew what to expect. However, we got a much better room this time at a better price - thanks. ... The only downside of the hotel is that is is a reasonably long walk from the metro station. It wasn't a problem for us as we didn't bring much luggage but it may be worth considering a taxi if a guest had a lot. ... This is a good quality hotel with friendly and efficient staff. It is spotlessly clean & well-maintained. Its within easy walking distance of the Vatican & Spanish steps but is still in a nice quiet street. There are plenty of restaurants nearby & I would especially recommend CLOK pizza. I would definitely stay there again.

For the quality and location, this hotel is a very good deal.
The service staff were about as polite as they get in Rome -- which is not terribly polite. Site users shouldn't expect great service from any hotel in Rome, so that they aren't disappointed when they get there. ... Very, very nice boutique hotel without the attitude or pretentiousness. Extremely well placed in the city -- walking distance to just about everything.

The room size was large by European standards. We did have a problem with the electrical system. Hairdryers with adapters would not work nor would flat irons. We had an outage one night but it was fixed promptly. It was a nice hotel and located in a good location to walk to most areas. Very safe area. ... made dinner reservations for us as well as prompt taxi service. ... Good location, large rooms.

We had been told that our 2 rooms were adjoining, though not connected. They turned out to be down the hall and around the corner from eachother, not next to one another as anticipated.
