It was a good experience! The only bad part was the fact that the Taxi from the Airport drop off point to the hotel was excessively expensive (no fault of you or the Hotel. ... Had a very good time. ... No ... A typical city based 3 star hotel in a fairly good location.

Although we only stayed here one night, the service we got was very warm. We were directed to a great restaurant for dinner, one that didn't have special tourist prices. We felt very taken care of at this hotel.

I am a regular visitor to Rome, and had stayed in hotels nearby, so it was very easy for me to find the Hotel Colloseo. ... Very quiet - which is unusual given the central location. ... Very quiet, good clean rooms, and a central location. Very good.

I had booked the room at 160 EU, and they tried to charge me 170 EU. When I showed them my confirmation, thet chamged it to 160 EU. The room was comfortable and in a good location. We could walk to the tourist sites. ... There is a top floor observation deck with chairs that allows a view of most of downtown Rome. ... Clean and in good condition. Centrally located. Friendly staff.

Very strange lift operation (not by the user, but only by the clerk).

The staff in the hotel is not customer oriented, creating a bad service and bad treatment to the guests.

Quiet, but very handy, location with good local facilities (metro, supermarket, water fountain) ... Perfect - excellent location, very friendly staff, wonderful facilities. A great bargain and one to come back to

The reception was excellent and very helpful. Directions from Maria Maggiore would have been helpful. ... I very much enjoyed the room and also the roof-top veranda was a big plus as the view was spectacular. ... Checking out was very easy quick and simple. ... Charming and old fashioned (in a positive sense ) and very accessible especially from the train station..

Caught a cab from the airport. ... The WiFi connection we were told was available was only available downstairs in the lobby and then it was never a constant connection and kept dropping out to the point where we could not get any work done.
Otherwise eveything else was as expected - the bathroom facilities and breakfast were better than expected. We had two separate bathrooms in our quad room, one with shower and basin, the other with shower, basin, toilet and bidet. Water pressure was good. ... Great location. The hotel arranged for a private car transfer to the airport that arrived on time, was very comfortable and cost the same as a taxi. ... Our room was a quad and did not have the heavy wooded furniture that was described. This could be as we were in what appears to have been the building next door, via fire door. Our room was nicely furnished in more modern light wood coloured furnishings. We had to ask for the A/Conditinoning to be turned on once we were shown to our room- we were given the remote for the split system after we asked for it. ... Perfect for those seeking value for money accommodation in a great central location with a good breakfast of cereal, pastries, juice, coffee/tea with espresso on request. The roof top terrace was great to watch the city lights and fireworks from, but never seemed to be fully utilised

We arrived late due to a late flight. i made the hotel aware and they said this was fine. Someone was there and happy to check us in late at night, and provide us a drink at the bar. ... Lovely hotel, very friendly staff. Perfectly located to the Colosseum and easy walking to local tourist areas and restaurants. We really enjoyed it here. ... Was very quick and easy, no problems or queries. ... lovely. very good location, nice staff, well recommended.

Breakfast was very poor. Whilst I was not epecting a lot the bread was not fresh and generally the standard here was very disappointing especially as in all other respects the quality of the room etc was excellent

The room could use a fresh coat of paint. ... Convenient location yet away from the less desirable, crowded area around the train station. Comfortable bed, very good bathroom. Basic room without decoration. Very pleasant continental breakfast.

Rooms for 3 persons are small but clean ... Breakfast stops at 9.30 on week end and that not very practical. should stop at 10am. ... small hotel, very well located in Rome, small and traditional deco style but very well maintained and friendly. very practical for a week end spent mostly outside of the hotel room.

friendly people ... The level is not three star. Shower sink not clean, breakfast far below three star standard (out of bread, horrible coffee). Bed's are not up to standard either. Because everybody is so nice and forthcoming you'll accept it. But you know that this is not as good as it could be. ... You'll find better accommodation for this price in Rome. I've stayed at better places for the same money. You find very positive reviews about this hotel on the internet and it is a nice enough place. Yet, you'll find better places, more romantic with much more qulity and better beds and breakfast for the same price.

My only main complaint was that the single beds were real short. I am 5'9' and my feet hung off the end! ... My request for a taxi to the airport was well received and the taxi driver was on time. ... The breakfast was excellent but if you stay there please learn some Italian. I ran into some very snooty ladies from the US, maybe the South?, who did not even make an effort to learn 1-10 in Italian to explain their room number and had the nerve to cop some attitude about the ladies serving breakfast who did not speak English. I was mortified. ... Clean but a bit worn. The first room I was given the closet door and the toilet did not work and the beds were short.
