VERY BEAUTIFUL PLACE TO STAY IF YOU LIKE TO VISIT ROME BUT ALSO LIKE TO RETURN TO A
PEACEFULL ENVIROMENT.

We were shown a small double room with shower when we had booked deluxe double room with king size bed and jacuzzi bath. We complained and they offered us a bigger room but with the same sized bed (smaller than king sized) and normal sized bath with no jacuzzi. The said we could move the next day but as we were only there for two nights, we didn't want to waste time moving. No additional compensation was offered and we didn't ask for it. Didn't want to spoil our trip.

The hotel was really excellent (except for the room problem) and was even better than it had looked on the internet. It was a high standard and yet didn't feel too posh - and felt really welcoming and cosy. I'd definitely recommend it to friends.

A beautiful converted castle just outside Rome. It's a really high standard of quality and yet doesn't feel posh and isn't trying too hard. Just perfect for a romantic break without the kids. A great place to relax out of the busy, hot city.
