By Plane:
From Fiumincino Airport, go and get the train to the main central Station Termini (you can buy the tickets at the train station inside the airport). Be sure that the train you are picking will stop at Stazione Trastevere. Get off after 5 stops at Stazione Trastevere. Outside the station there is the n.8 tram-stop, but get on the tram only after you have bought the tickets (usually tickets are sold at all newspaper-kiosk and not on the tram). The tram n.8 should pass every 3 minutes and "should" work from 5 am to 3 am. Get off at the tram terminus after 8 stops at Largo Argentina. From Largo Argentina turn in Corso Vittorio and go straight, you are nearly at the apartment. After 200 mt turn left (after a the big church called Sant'Andrea delle Valle) in Largo de Chiavari, then right after 30 mt. The apartment is on the left in a little private street, just near the entrance of the restaurant "Costanza".
By Car:
On the A90, please head towards "Roma/Tangenziale Est". Continue along the A24 "Foro Italico/Nomentano/Tiburtino", and then on Circonvallazione Tiburtina / Tangenziale Est, then on Piazzale della Stazione Tiburtina. Turn right in Via della Stazione Tiburtina and take Piazza delle Crociate and continue along Via Della Lega Lombarda. At the roundabout of Piazza delle Provincie take the 2nd exit and go ahead in Via Catania, go on turn left in Via Giovanni Battista Morgagni. Continue along and once in Viale Castro Pretorio and turn right in Via San Martino della Battaglia. At the roundabout of Piazza dell'Indipendenza, take the 4thexit and continue along Via Solferino. Go ahead and at the next roundabout of Piazza Esedra take the 3rd exit and go in Via Nazionale. Turn right in Via 4 Novembre and once in Corsa Vittorio Emanuele II, turn left (in Via dei Baullari), then left (in Piazza Pollarola) and left again and you will be in Piazza del Paradiso.
By Train:
The most convenient station is of course Rome Central Station Termini. From there please follow the above instructions to access the house.
Alternatively you can also follow the following instructions: Just out of the station, go to the big square called Piazza dei Cinquecento and look for the Bus 64 terminal. Get on the bus but remember to buy the tickets before, there should be a kiosk that sells tickets on the square, otherwise you can find tickets inside the station. The bus should leave the terminal every 4 minutes and should work only in day time (from 5am to midnight). After 9 stops get of the bus at Corso Vittorio Emanuele. Cross the road and continue on Corso Vittorio Emanuele, turn left (after a the big church called Sant'Andrea delle Valle) in Largo de Chiavari, then right after 30 mt. The apartment is on the left in a little private street, just near the entrance of the restaurant "Costanza". |
