 Imaginatively designed by famous interior designer Tommaso Ziffer, our guesthouse on via Sistina 149 is 150 meters from the Spanish Steps. The accommodation has 5 bedrooms all with en-suite bathroom (and a Turkish Steam Bath). The Guest House on Via Sistina, 149 is on the second floor (with elevator) of an ancient palazzo. |
 Casa Howard was established in the year 2000 by Jenifer Howard Forneris, a name already well known in the world of High Fashion. Five rooms were opened in the year 2000 in Via Capo le Case, close to the Spanish Steps. In January 2003 five new rooms were opened in an historic palazzo, also close to the Spanish Steps, in Via Sistina 149. These last five have been redecorated by the same architect - Tommaso Ziffer - who also did the interior decoration of Rome's most cool grand hotel, the Hotel de Russie. |
 Our personal touch is in the many ornaments around the house, brought back from our travels: a porcelain monkey hanging from the ceiling light; Chinese dumpling holders used as soap boxes; and fashionable fabrics throughout the house from Paris, London, China, India....Expect an intimate & luxurious accommodation, a fantastic location, unusually designed rooms and first class service. We treat our member guests like friends and all is based on trust. |
 There is a Turkish Hammam Bath big enough for 3 people and 5 elegant rooms in the guest house. Since the inclusion of Casa Howard in "the 30 best Hotels in Europe under 200.00 USD" by Traveler USA, many others magazines have written about it. Casa Howard formula: an excellent personal service, a fantastic location and competitive prices.
Casa Howard is not an hotel. Whether an apartment, palazzo or farmhouse, each Casa Howard is a beautiful house which gives personal service, and where some typically "hotel" ideas, methods and services have been borrowed. "It's like staying in a friend's house"- as Guests you get the keys of the house, in case you come late (but house keepers are there 12/24). |
