 Casa Howard Guesthouse boasts 5 individually decorated rooms equipped with state-of-the art amenities.
The American Cousin's room: Pass the newspaper table area, and the library corner and enter, on the left, the American Cousin's room. The room has a truly modern high-tech feel to it: a huge flat-screen television, shiny black modern furniture, ADSL line and a grand king sized bed. Moreover, you'll find heavy fabric curtains and bedspread from Paris, fresh flowers from our garden (when available), a shower and tub in the bathroom and a view on via Sistina, the streets that leads to the top of the Spanish Steps of Rome. American Room features: king size bed, flat screen TV with sat channels, en-suite bathroom with shower and tub, air-conditioning, tea & coffee making facilities, ADSL line. |
 Flower room: Adjacent to the American room is the Flower Room. It was called as such because everything in the room was covered in flower fabrics, including the walls. If that wasn't enough, sometimes we place fresh flowers on your modern heavy plexi-glass bedside table and in your sunny green-yellow mosaic bathroom. You will surely appreciate a nice shower after a day walking the eternal city - and should you want a relaxing Turkish bath, the hammam is just upstairs from your room. Before going to sleep in your large bed, a last glance at the obelisk at the top of the Spanish Steps should secure wonderful dreams.  Indian room: The last room on the right at the end of the corridor is the Indian room. It is a very colorful and bright room, with Indian furniture such as the wonderful wood carved cabinet at the bottom of your queen-sized bed. To go to your en-suite green & yellow hand made oriental mosaic bathroom with shower, pass through the heavy silk taffetas yellow curtains and the small powder room with its antique chess table. Often, a bouquet of fresh flowers from our Frascati garden will await you in your room on your arrival and should you need to relax in the Turkish Hammam, it is just up the stairs. Indian room features queen size bed, a TV with satellite channels, en-suite bathroom with shower, air-conditioning, tea & coffee making facilities, ADSL line. Quiet back view. |
 Tommy room: Just a stone thrown from the Spanish Steps is Tommy's room, one of the smallest rooms of the house. It was named so being a copy of Tommy's Ziffer own bedroom in his Paris apartment. Tommaso Ziffer is the famous interior designer of Casa Howard via Sistina, who also designed the very grand Hotel de Russie further down the road. Your queen-sized bed has a canopy in toile de Jouy brought back from Paris. Pass your bed and walk through the heavy taffetas curtains to reach the mosaic bathroom with its stainless-steel sink, mosaic shower and bouquet of fresh flowers from our Frascati garden. Tommy's Room features: queen size bed, flat screen TV with satellite channels, en-suite bathroom with shower, air-conditioning, tea & coffee making facilities, ADSL line. Quiet back view. |
 Zebra room: The very eccentric Zebra room is the first room on the left as you enter the mirror-covered hall. Here we have optical black & white prints on the bed and bedspread and zebra print on the curtains, deep red floors, and ultra-modern furniture with a 1970's feel. The large floor-to-ceiling double-glazed window gives out on a balcony from where you can enjoy the morning sunshine and below you, the busy Roman street-life of the Spanish Steps area. The black & white bathroom has shower and tub, and should you need to keep in touch with the news from your country, connect your laptop to the ADSL line or turn-on the flat-screen satellite TV. Zebra room features king size bed, balcony, a flat screen TV with satellite channels, en-suite bathroom with shower & tub, air-conditioning, tea & coffee making facilities, ADSL line.
Casa Howard is a guesthouse, we do not belong to the "hotel" cathegory.
Some of our rooms in Rome have smaller beds. In order to ensure a comfortable stay please let us know in advance if larger beds are needed so we can advise you accordingly. If they are not warned upon booking they might no have an alternative room to give your clients, and they will be obliged to debit a full amount for your clients stay and transfer them to another hotel at your/his own expense. |
