The apartment is situated among ancient buildings of the central area (area A1), few minutes from the historical centre of the city, in the vicinity of Porta Pia (200 metres) and from the British Embassy. In few minutes (10-20 minutes) Venice Suqare, the Colosseum, Forum Romanum, via del Corso, via Veneto, piazza del Popolo and the famous Villa Borghese can be reached. Moreover, all daily services and facilities, including bus and underground service, can be found few metres away.
Not far from Termini rail station, underground, Air Terminal, with fast train connection to Fiumicino Airport, next to the business and historical centre, the museum of Roman civilization, Diocleziano baths, Santa Maria Maggiore Basilica, Via Veneto, Quirinale and to the most important Government buildings: Ministry of Interior affaires, treasury, defence, air force. |

By Car: coming from north take the Highway Milano-Napoli A1 until Roma. Follow the directions to Fiumicino(A12)/Civitavecchia/(E80) and to Via Salaria.
Follow road signs for Termini Railway station, once there take Via Giovanni Giolitti and Viale Luigi Einaudi for 150 metres and you will find yourself in Piazza Della Repubblica. Take Via Giuseppe Romita and turn right at Via Cernaia, go along for 400 metres and turn right at the second street on the right which is Via del Macao, we are at number 12.
By Plane: from the airport in Fiumicino or from Ciampino, take the shuttle train to Termini Station. From the station you can reach the B&B on foot in few minutes. Take Via Giovanni Giolitti, turn right at Viale Enrico de Nicola, turn left at Via Volturno, turn right at Via Montebello and than take the first on the left which is Via del Macao, we are at number 12.
By Train: the nearest railway station is Termini. From the exit you can reach the B&B on foot or you can take a taxi. If you decide to walk to the apartment (with a reasonable amount of luggage!) follow the instruction above. |
