By Plane
The air terminals serving Rome are Ciampino (28 kilometres away, approximately 31 minutes by car) and Fiumicino or Leonardo Da Vinci (27 km, also a 30 minutes drive). There are all sorts of means of public transport to get to the hotel easily and fast, due to the great location of the hotel.
By Car
At Ciampino, take the SS7DIR motorway and go along Via dei Ciampino before getting on SS7 and then, A90 highway: stay on this track for around 14 kilometres, till exit 28, where you must get off. Continue along SS8BIS and SS8, drive onto Via Ostiense and already in Rome by now, turn left at Via dei Caduti Senza Croce. Continue along Via Guglielmo Marconi and Ponte Guglielmo Marconi, veer left in Via Degli di Cesare and right into Viale di Trastevere. Stay on this track for a while, pass Piazza Sidney Sonnino and Ponte Garibaldi, and drive onto Via Arenula. Take your right in Via Giovanni Borgi, your left into Via Sant` Anna and your right in Via dei Chiavari. Finally veer left into Largo del Pallaro and you will come to Piazza del Biscione, right in front of Campo de Fiori. However, take into account that the area where the hotel stands is closed to traffic, so you will be able to go as far as Largo del Pallaro. If your plane lands in Leonardo Da Vinci-Fiumicino airport, take A91 highway and get off at the exit for Roma Centro, Magliana and Trastevere. Continue along Via della Magliana, veer left in Via Degli di Cesare and follow the directions already described.
By Train
From both airports you can reach Termini central station, either on the Leonardo Express leaving from Fiumicino or the transfer at Ciampino. They both reach the train station in 20 to 30 minutes: once there, take the bus ATAC number 40 or 64 up to Piazza S. Andrea della Valle. From here, go along Corso Vittorio Emanuelle II, turn left in Via dei Chiavari and right in Largo del Pallaro. If you come by train and arrive at Tiburtina train station instead of Termini, get on the bus ATAC number 492 till the stop at Torre Argentina. At this spot you can also take Corso Vittorio Emanuelle II and then follow the directions. |
