Magdalenna was very helpful in the reservation process by communicating frequently via e-mail and making all the requests I needed. Airport transportation, etc. ... Excellent location for our needs. Within walking district of most desired sites, Trevi Fountain, Train Terminal, Spanish Steps, Via del Corso shopping district. The Hotelwas clean and orderly and a very welcome site at the end of a long siteseeing day. ... Excellent value for the price. Quality service is key and is worth the price paid. ... We couldn't comment enough about the quality of the service provided. All the staff members from Front desk to cleaning people to bell hops were very friendly and helpful. They will go out of you way to make sure your trip goes without a problem. Magdellena arranged a day trip to Florence, a night tour of Rome, and dinner reservations expertly. Location was vefy clean and quaint. The breakfast was fantastic. ... I would, and have recommended the Britannia to anyone visiting Rome. I would not stay anywhere else.

The standard room was VERY small and we had lots of luggage so it was impossible to even move in the room so we had to upgrade to a superior room but the staff was always nice and helpful. I would stay there again. ... see above ... mostly that the standard rooms are so small ... the location is good and it is on quiet street if that is important to them. It was to me.

We absolutely loved staying at Hotel Britannia. It was not only lovely, clean, and friendly but in a very good location for seeing the sights of Rome. Staying there was one of the highlights of our trip to Italy and we would highly recommend it to other people. ... Wonderful! We were very tired after an 8 hour flight and we were welcomed with juice and cookies and even though we arrived early, we were able to go to our room to rest. ... Outstanding! ... Due to the increase in value of the Euro, the hotel was quite a bit more expensive than when booked but this is not a fault of the web site or the hotel. ... The 4th floor terrace rooms are lovely and the bathrooms are beautiful. ... We have already described Hotel Brittania to many friends and we would definitely stay there again if and when we get back to Rome. Great location, beautiful hotel with quiet rooms, cool air conditioning, modern bathrooms, a safe and quiet street, delicious breakfasts, and very hospitable and helpful management. They even loaned us books of Rome to use while there and were so helpful in booking our dinners and giving us information on sights to see.

Welcome drink is a lovely touch. We asked the hotel (by email) to arrange a taxi to collect us at Ciampino which worked very well and saved us a lot of time on arrival. ... The room for 4 people is very small but we expected that - the hotel had warned us. We loved our stay at the Britannia - the location is perfect, the street is very quiet, the breakfasts are absolutely wonderful, the staff very helpful. ... see above. The only negative thing was that the restaurant recommended by the reception was not good - (on via quattro fontanne - Berzoni/Bertazolli?) We ate very very well in Rome except for that one recommendation! They should stop sending people there. ... Absolutely loved it. Would certainly stay there again and highly recommend the Britannia.

I was early (9:45) and my room was not quite ready, but they made my brief wait very pleasant. Including offering me a pastry and coffee. ... This is my second long stay at Hotel Britannia. I had the same great room, 208. This is a very quiet (whole hotel is quiet as it's on a side street) room with a spacious bathroom. Wonderful bathroom, with a window that can be opened. ... In addition, Britannia has the best included breakfast of any hotel I've ever stayed at. Splendid. Great variety of hot and cold dishes. Well served.
All very friendly. And I love the location and I can walk almost everywhere (except to the Vatican. Only eight short blocks from main train station, and I walked from there when I first arrived. ... Breakfasts. See above. ... See above.

It was comprehensive, interactive and easy to use. When I had a query, they were responsive. ... I'm not sure what it is. ... They offered us juice, etc. and were exceptionally nice.....storing our luggage until our room was ready and then put everything in our room before we returned from sightseeing. ... only problem was that the air conditioner doesn't go on until May 1st and there was a hot spell for the 2 days prior.
The one thing I want to mention is the sign outside does NOT reflect the beauty of the small elegant hotel that awaits you inside.
Our room was smaller than I expected but adequate for 3. ... we have already recommended it to friends.

TV in my room didn't work. ... Good value, good location, good service, quiet. Rooms are a little small--fine if you are alone, but might be a bit cramped for two.

The site is very good - clear and easy to use. It would be good to be able to list the hotels by name and not just the location as I often knew the name of a hotel but not where it was located. ... The rioom was a little small but to be expected. Everything else was excellent. ... It is a little far from the major attractions for people who do not like to walk to far. ... Great hotel, very nice people, maybe a little far to walk everwhere but good value for money. The fact that I would go back speaks for itself.

The room terraces are very nice, and the room we were in was more modernly outfitted than we expected (which was nice). ... Efficient way to book. ... Good, central location; friendly efficient staff; a good quality and comfortable experience in the heart of Rome.

I'm afraid that you didn't publish any directions online as to how to get to the hotel. Unfortunately for us we found it very confusing to walk from Termini Station as the only map that we managed to get hold of was not up to scratch. Consequently it took us four times as long as it should have to find the hotel, not to mention a few tempers en route. ... We were very happy with the hotel in general. However, there were a couple of things which detracted from our otherwise enjoyable stay. There was a fan in the bathroom that stayed on constantly so we had to close the bathroom door because of the noise it generated. This, however, proved very annoying because the door squeaked loudly every time you opened it. Not a big problem during the day of course but during the night it always woke the other person up when one of us got up to use the bathroom. ... Well, as stated above, I think you should give clear instructions of how to get there from the main train station. ... It was a very nice hotel with friendly and helpful staff, very clean, smallish rooms (at least ours was), good breakfast provided, not that many nice restaurants in the vicinity so it was a bit of an effort to get somewhere more lively, a little pricey for the location but overall a very nice place.

We booked 2 rooms 1 double with 1 single this room was very small but okay. we also booked 3 single room - this room was amazing the setout and alot more space to move - overall the rooms were great ... The breakfast staff were very rushed and you felt you could not relax to have breakfast. ... State if you require a double with extra single bed explain there is not much space to move around in the room. Better option would be to take the more spacious room with 3 singles - much larger room more windows and larger bathroom. ... Great place to stay close to tourist destinations etc. Would give it 1st class review

We were very impressed with the staff. Mr. Mario was exceedingly helpful. They made our stay with Hotel Britannia very enjoyable. They gave us very helpful map instructions, restraunt information, and also help on returning our Eurocar in the city. Thank you very much. ... We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Especially since we were there at the time of Conclave for the new pope, it was nice to know we had a very nice place to stay already in place. ... Very friendly and good service. Nice and clean and quiet.

Staff was very helpful -- suggesting restaurants, making reservations, arranging tours. The breakfast was very good. The bar area was very nice, but not well stocked or staffed so no one used it. Nice modern bathrooms and lovely decor. ... Nice small hotel on a quiet street near the Via Nationale and main train station. Staff is helpful and friendly. Copious breakfast included in the price. Rooms are nicely decorated with modern bathrooms.
