The owner called us as we landed at the airport. He showed us around the accommodation, and give us guidance on where to visit in the city. He couldn't have been more helpful.

We had a lovely time, Angelo was a v gracious host and incredibly flexible -- v welcoming to our 15 month old daughter. Who loved the large terrace, the big black and white photos on the walls, and the residential family of turtles... It was a lovely neighborhood to stay in as well -- a nice break from downtown Rome.

A light-filled room in a sprawling, elegant upscale Roman flat -- a little quirky, very comfortable, a slice of life in 'real' Rome.

We have only positive comments about our stay. Angelo & Daniella were gracious and helpful hosts. If we were ever to stay in Rome again, we would hope to stay at Il Boom.

Beautiful, quiet setting in an excellent location. We walked to all the sites in Rome (About 40min to Vatican City, 25min to Colosseum). For night-time dining, we recommend the restuarants around Piazza S. Maria in Trastevere. We cooked a few meals at home during our stay which was great to save a few $$$(there are two supermarkets nearby for everything you need including beera and other alcoholic drinks!)

It was a good value for Rome and considering the devaluation of the dollar. Breakfast was included.

We loved the area and would recommend it to get away from the crowds in room. The room overlooked a garden.

An excellent base for visiting Rome Comfortable, friendly, most helpful staff, good facilities and excellent breakfasts. Angelo's facilities heighten the Rome experience for visitors.If there is one problem it is the night time traffic noise when windows are open on warm nights

Angelo was extremely helpful in ordering a taxi for the airport and allowing us use of the facilities well after the standard check out time in view of the late time of our depaqrture flight

Elderly visitors should be awareof the number of stairs which have to be negotiated to access Il Boom

May want to include that it's on the third floor and the breakfast accomodations are on the fourth floor with no lift. Not a problem for us but could be for someone with limited mobility.

Angelo was very helpful. He showed us a map of all of the tourist sites, restaurants, etc. He also made sure to reserve a taxi for us early in the morning when we needed one to get to the airport. Breakfast was perfect.

Location of Il Boom is walking distance to many sites.
