Was very nice stay for us - great location (we walked almost everywhere, occasionally took metro, and only a few times taxi) and nice neighborhood just a few blocks removed from the bustle and hotels of Via Veneto but which feels more residential and authentic. Great coffee and sandwiches right down the street (the first cafe on the way to Via Veneto, only a block or so away). Everyone at the B&B was welcoming and helpful, especially Vittoria, who was really gracious and friendly - a wonderful host(ess). The rooms are simple but spacious, very clean, and comfortable. The only problem we had was that we had to leave and go home far too soon.

Victoria was very pleasent and helpful, She patiently went over everything we needed to know about the Suites, and area. She was ready with recommendations for restaurants in the area, and provided directions and bus routes to monuments and important sites in Rome. Victoria is very knowledgealbe and delightful person to deal with.

A bit of a long walk from Spagna metro station there were no signs when we came out of the metro to tell us where we were or which way was via veneto- when we got to the B & B the receptionist advised that Bernini station was closer

The only way that it could have been improved was to have tea and coffee making facilities in the room

It is not as close to the centre as it implies - it was a long uphill walk on the way home from the Trevi fountain etc - which seemed much longer than the 15mins stated - although we didn't mind the exercise our feet did hurt!
It was in a nice quiet area - a trade off I suppose for not being so central

We would deffinately stay there again

We actually got a better room than the one paid for!! Victoria and Nick in particular were most helpful throughout our stay and we would have absolutely no hestiaition in recommending this propertry to asnyone wanting a quality exerience and prepared to pay slightly above average for this type of accommodation.

We were very pleased with the location and property. It was in a safe neighborhood and close to local transportation which made it easy to tour Rome's best sites.
The only suggestion I would provide is to provide a better breakfast. We received a packaged croissant and juice. A fresh breakfast ( i.e.yogurt, fresh croissant, fruit, cereal) would have made our stay more enjoyable.

The reception arranged for a driver to take us to and from the airport. It was well worth the 50 Euros we paid and much less headache! Thanks again for a wonderful stay and accomodation! I would definitely return to Boncompagni Suite when visiting Rome again

The staff was very helpful and showed us the room thoroughly and explained how the keys to all the doors leading from the street up to the room worked, which was helpful. She also gave us tips on restaurants in the neighborhood and showed us on a map how to get around. She made us feel very welcome.

The quality of the room was very good- the only negativ aspect of it was that it was not so soundproof, as it lay right next to the lobby. Being a small hotel I guess this is unavoidable.
One day of cleaning our room was missed.
At some times the reception was unattended and it was not clear what number to call if it was needed.

Again the staff was very helpful as they checked out different ways for us to get to the airport. We paid the night before leaving and in the morning when we left (7 am) one of the staff had come in early to make us breakfast. She also called a taxi and carried most of our luggage down to the taxi as we were collecting the last of our things.

The hotel arranged for us to met at the airport. Our driver was extremely polite and pleasant in spite of the bad traffic jams we ran into before getting to the hotel.

As I expected, the suites looked somewhat more luxurious on the website than in person. Nevertheless, they were more than adequate -- clean, new, and spacious, I think, for a European hotel room.
Of the three staff members running the suites, two were unfailingly polite and helpful. One gentleman had a somewhat austere manner but his co-workers made up for this.

The building is locked during the early evening, so guests have to carry keys to enter the building after dark. But once you enter the suites, there is always a staff person at the front desk. (We came in as late as 1:30AM.)

I would definitely recommend this hotel for anyone who wants to pay a moderate price and still be in a central location, near all of the main sites.

Great place to stay. Quiet and safe area to walk around. Away from the city noise, but close enough to the attractions as the metro and bus are within walking distance. Receptionist are very helpful and the room was clean and comfortable. Will defenetly go back if i had the chance.

Victoria was excellent!!! She helped us with everything we needed. When I added another day to our stay, she was very accomodating. She helped us with transportation and restaurants. I also stayed at Boncompagni last year, and Victorias kindness and help was the reason I returned again. I will definitely be telling my friends and family about the B&B if they ever want to visit Rome.
The only thing I might change is the breakfast. I know you´re very limited with food, but you may want to make a menu that customers can pick and chose what options they want (e.g.maybe eggs, fruit)and give it to front desk prior to a certain time. You may also include with the menu, a space telling you what time they want breaksfast instead of having to tell front desk.

If you decide a menu option, you may want to add the menu onto the website.
Also, add quotes about what people are saying about the Boncompagni. A lot of people base their decisions on accomodations based on comments from other people.

we enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The rooms were very good. The towels were not up to the standards of a luxury hotel.
We would have appreciated more help with the computer, so that I could use it and the TV. The problem, of course, was the language.

It was a luxurious hotel, and we enjoyed it.
We returned to Rome and stayed at another hotel and we were comparing all the time the facilities, but then to be fair we did not spend the same amount of money, so for our first visit to Rome we were very pleased.

Fresh food at breakfast is always nice. We were disappointed in the lack of, for example, freshly baked bread/croissants. We ended up having a proper breakfast in a local cafe.

I booked a single room, and the accommodation provided was more than adequate and with a double bed. The location was very central to most of the sights in Rome so it was an excellent base to explore from. The only negative that I have is that there was no breakfast area as this was brought to your room.

The towels were not changed as often as I would have liked (e.g.) I would expect them to be changed every couple of days and this didn't happen. My room was tidied daily and the bathroom was always clean.

I have two recommendations for improved service based on my stay. (1) It would be great to have linen service (at least towels) every other day. We stayed 5 days and had to use the same towels for the entire stay. (2) The continental breakfast needs a little revamping - bread was a bit stale and it got monotonous after three days of the same rolls. It would be nice to see some variety every day.
