There are 65 steps to climb to get to Best comfort Residenza's front door. Therefore, it is probable not suitable for older people or those with children etc... ... Appeared newly refurbished/decorated which had been completed very tastefully. Had a nice and very secure entrance to the building and the communal stairwell within the building. The whole building, communal areas and Best Comfort Residenza property, was very clean and tidy and provided a very peaceful and private stay.

We were very satisfy with the quality of the apartment and specially we appriciate very quiet place, but near to the crossroad of public transport (Largo Argentina) - so we can have a rest without problems, and have a great connection to the most interersting places in Rome... GREAT PLACE! Highly recomended for all people prefering quiet nights and days full of experiences! ... As I told before - we were pleasantly suprised about the advantegous location of the Best Comfort - the connection of quiet place with bus and tram crossroad in the close vicinity was FANTASTIC ... As a clean, quiet place, in romantic Jewish district, in advategous location. As we are not Jewish, my only negative advice to friends would be to visit restaurants in another district - Kosher offer was not the best for us.

My sister and I absolutely loved staying at the Best Comfort Residenza. It is in a very nice part of town, and walking distance to all major sites. Rosario was very knowledgable and helpful. He even helped us with our luggage to the 4th floor. We will definately recommend this place to friends or family visiting Rome.

I think that the directions to the B&B should definately include the landmark, Fontana d. Tartarughe. I think that this would be helpful since the street is right there. ... We had an excelent stay once we found the B&B. Our only trouble was the poor directions to the place. We truly enjoyed our host, Rosario and his lovely wife. The restaurant down the street 'San Danielle' is wonderful. This was a great location and was walking distance to everything we wanted to see. ... This place felt like home away from home. We were comfortable, loved the expresso machine and truly enjoyed being part of the Roman culture for our short stay there. Rosario was charming and between his English and our little Italian & Spainish we understood each other just fine. Thanks!

Directions are tough throughout Italy, not just here, but once we arrived everything was great. ... Great place to stay & quite convenient. We walked everywhere from our apartment. It was in a cute little district, a very authentic experience. I would stay again.

Very hard to find the hotel but the receptionist was great. ... It was very good room with great location in Rome. The only thing negative was the breakfast, it was not something to talk about. Other than that we are very pleased with our stay.

HArd to find this place taxi driver had trouble ... Breakfast was served at 8.30 which is a bit late when you have tours to get on. ... Very well situated for the restaurants in Trastevere which are very good value. Well situated for walking to many of the sites such as Piazza Venezia and Navona, Trevi, Pantheon etc. Many stairs to climb .. no lift.. ... Well situated, value Bed and Breakfast. Small, clean, with suitable facilities for the price range

All in all it was a great experience and we would love to stay here again sometime! Lisa ... Perfect Location, Very Safe and clean! ... Delicious breakfast delivered to our room before checkout! ... Proximity and location, WALKING DISTANCE to all the major sites in Rome. ... A great small room, inexpensive, perfect for one night in Rome!

The only thing I would include is that the B&B is a 4th floor walk-up, which was tricky to maneuver with luggage. Luckily the owner offered to help us out in carrying it. ... I can't say enough about this property and the owner. He was so extremely helpful during our stay. The location was fabulous - Very central. I would stay here again anytime. Thank you!

only 1 disadvantage: we got no change of towels and we stayed for 3 days. white towels tend to get pretty dirty and I think 2 days with the same towels should be a maximum. Other than that: excellent !! ... The perfect place to stay for a weekend in Rome.

We were leaving very early in the morning to Venezia, and the night before the staff prepare for us a nice lunch box to take with us in the train that is customer service, very sweet. ... Great location, lot of shops around, cafeterias for a nice italian coffee, very safe. ... Very quiet, great service Excellent host Rosario and his wife. I felt very safe. Close to everything.

While we weren't quite prepared for the lack of a sign or other marking that we had arrived at the best comfort, the owners were extremely pleasant and helped us carry our luggage up four flights of stairs. ... If we ever return to Rome, we hope to stay there again. Truly wonderful experience from check in to check out! We will recommend to all our friends -- in fact, we have already recommended it to some of them! ... As an incredible value and the perfect place to stay while in Rome!

This hotel/B&B is perfectly situated in Rome. We walked to all major sites from the hotel. There is an internet point and supermarket nearby. The restaurant and bar options are good. Very near everything, yet quiet and quaint. Would stay there again.

We were early in arriving so the fault lies with both us and the host that he was not there to greet us. Time is always 'to the best of my knowledge...' The B and B is difficult to find. The site directions don't say which direction to walk nor how far through the tiny alley ways ... The location is excellent, as stated, within walking distance to many of Rome's sights. The room is small, without storage space; however it was very clean and well furnished. It was also amazingly quiet which was welcome after a Rome-filled day. ... Rosario was charming and helpful during our 3-night stay. The final morning, he provided us with morning snacks since we were leaving before the posted breakfast hours. He also arranged a taxi to get us to the airport which was waiting for us as requested--which was a big relief! ... Charming and helpful owner/host. Super location. Clean though compact en-suite room. ... Great place to stay. Central to everything yet very quiet. Be prepared to go up lots and lots of stairs when climbing up to the room. It's way up, but well worth it to get to a peaceful air-conditioned room. Plus wonderful morning cappucino served on a tray in your room.

We had to 'chase' the owner to pay! ... The location of the B&B is ideal. Many sites are easily reached by foot and bus connections are rather good at Piaza Argentina (which is 2 minutes away from the B&B). The main dissapointment was the breakfast. The place is not a B&B by British standard but a 'Bed & Do-Your-Own Breakfast'. There is a small (tiny!) kitchen in the flat and the owner provides an expresso machine and a few nibbles. Do not expect to be treated to a nice italian breakfast.

Rosario, the property manager, was very helpful with our luggage (going up the stairs)and also showed us on the map how close we were to the main tourist attractions. ... If the windows are not kept closed little bugs fly in to get closer to the light bulb at night. The toilet could have been cleaner. ... It was located at a great neighborhood. Quiet place for good night sleep. Absolutely close to main tourist spots (walking distance 5-10 min).

Best Comfort is within walking distance to all major sites. However, there was no tourist information or maps available at the residence.
Rosario was very helpful. When we had a problem with the room, he immediately came and changed the room.
The only drawback is that the breakfast was limited.

please give more specific disciptions for the way to the Bed and Breakfast, f.i.:ariving at the bus-station Largo Argentina, cross the place, go left into Via dei Funari, then take the first right, follow the street, cross the little place with the fountain and you will be in the street of your Bed and Breakfast... ... The Residenza is located in the downtown area - that was terrific. ... Nice, quiet downtown Bed and Braekfast, very clean, tiniest Bathroom I have ever seen, but suitable, nice owner- very friendly

There were problems with the plumbing at the inn upon our arrival, and the delay in fixing it would intervene with our stay. The innkeeper was extremely professional and took it upon himself to find alternate accommodations for us. He also paid the difference in cost as there was little to choose from at the last minute. We toured the Best Comfort upon arrival to see what would have been our room and it seemed like a great place. Excellent location. I would definitely recommend it to friends and will keep it in mind for a next trip to Rome. 5th floor walkup is the only negative, but that's mentioned on the website.

There was no mention in the description of the accomodation that there were a lot of stairs leading up to Best Comfort Residenza, and with heavy bags to carry this was unwelcome. It did mention that it was located on the 4th floor, but it would have been helpful if it made it clear that there was no elevator. ... The management seems to leave the property at 1pm. If you have not vacated your room by this time your room is not cleaned on that day. We also found it quite difficult to get a receipt for our payment, and had to ask 3 times until finally we were given one. ... The staff were prepared to keep our luggage until 1pm on the day of our departure, but no longer than this time, and our flight was not until 5.30pm, so we had to leave and go to the airport at 1pm or be stuck with our luggage while we wondered around Rome. ... I think it shoudl be made clear that there is no elevator, and that your room is unlikely to be cleaned after 1pm. ... Fairly good location.

We stayed two seperate times. The first time, someone was there to let us in, but the second time, no one was there, and we were locked out. While it was okay for us, some people might find the six flights of stairs hard to handle (no elevator). Breakfast was minimal, at best. The first room we stayed in was tiny; the bathroom was so narrow one had to sit sideways on the commode. The second room was much better. It was, however, clean, neat, and very quiet. Hard to find without a good map. ... Looked more spacious on the website. ... Interesting location and experience. Nto luxurious, but certainly adequate.
